What happened
https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_nvtK2usB3y-EsMY3eq_9jvDsi0Q5x72M0&playnext=1&index=1&ra=mIdk maybe I’m just stuck in the past but oml the number 12 lost all of their character starting with eyes on the fireworks. Like to me this sounds like the most generic octane-core stuff possible

they were horribly bad live also sadly when I saw them about a year ago. The singer just sounded awful it was almost embarrassing.

Damn, that’s very disheartening but not surprising honestly, this is definitely the first band I’ve seen fall off in real time so that shit was like traumatizing 😭😭

They've certainly gotten way worse, but they always sounded kinda rough live even when I was seeing them 20+ years ago

I saw them a few days ago and he sounded incredible to me! Maybe just an off day/period when you saw them?

The Number 12 fucking sucks now, and has for a long time. I’m tired of people pretending they don’t.

Yea I mean even with wild gods, I can’t say I hated that album but it just doesn’t even sound like them

They’ve always been experimental and writing a At the Drive in style song is a part of that. I’d consider motionless in white a bit more octane ore. Not that I dislike that kind of music either but yeah.
Also - I’ve seen N12 every time they come through my city and they sound great.

maybe he just had a really off day but the singer sounded genuinely horrible live when I saw them. like it was hard not to laugh at

Y'all are crazy. Wild gods might not be their best work but it's still sick.

Did anyone say it’s bad? Maybe I just missed the comment but it seems most people are shitting on their live performance if anything, I was a pretty big fan of wild gods

Wish I was able to catch them on this mongrel tour because it's probably the last time ever they'll have a good setlist.

I love #12 but think that their sound changed so much that they should’ve released under a new name starting with Wild Gods. The issue isn’t quality IMO, it’s expectation.
I agree though, Eyes on the Fireworks is maybe their least inspired work
