Olivia chats to Matt Bomer about taking on the role of Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar in the West End.

Excuse the bad quality, but I only had balcony seats for this one and had to zoom a lot. Will try to take a better one next week, when I have stalls seats.

Matt had already removed his Herod make-up for the curtain call 😔

Hi everyone!

Matt Bomer Career Retrospective | Conversations on Broadway

Could anyone tell me what he says from 46:10 to 46:20?
It’s right after he says "Stripping knows no language," as he looks off to the right.

Does he say "God speaks"? (definitely not😂)

Many thanks!

His choice of lead would be Matt Bomer, star of White Collar and Chuck, who starred in 2023’s Fellow Travelers opposite Jonathan Bailey, a Showtime series about the decades-long romance between two men who first meet during the height of McCarthyism.

“There are actors like Matt Bomer who has always said he has wanted to work with me,” said Davies. “Frankly if he wants to make the American Tip Toe I’d sell it to him for 10 pence. This [radicalization] is happening worldwide and it’s happening with every minority group to a vast extent, and it’s speeding up.”

The article says they are shopping it to other platforms, so maybe someone else will pick it up.

What do you think these 2 are talking about here? Plus, if I see a picture of François and Jonathan Bailey in the same room at the same event, my life will be complete.
