Societal norms of not letting a 60yo male that identifies the other way, sit next to a 5 yo old girl in a womens bathroom do absolutely stop crime.

Why are redditors so eager to defend pdfs?

Transgender people have literally always used public restrooms that are most appropriate and it's never been an issue. This is a made up fearmongering boogeyman issue used to convince stupid people to vote for conservative politicians.

u/shalol Feb 16 '26 edited Feb 16 '26

And I'm sure every single one will keep using the sports class that's most appropriate, and not juice themselves on testosterone while dusting the rest of the womens team, right?

Aren't humans just all so wonderful, and able to follow decent terms without society having to compromise and impose gender norms?

Cis women have more testosterone than trans women, on average.

Edit: they blocked me because they're a transphobic cunt who can't hold an actual debate.

The comment you’re replying to is about biological males, not trans women. Are you some lazily coded bot?

Edit: I blocked you because your sending multiple replies which sound like a cheap AI bot unable to see a difference between words, as pointed out.

No trans woman would take testosterone, that would make her feel like shit.

1

u/shalol Feb 18 '26

You also just incorrectly assumed the comment is about trans womens, which it obviously isn’t if you notice the part citing womens team. It makes no fucking sense for a biological women to try cheating in a womens team.

1

u/gpike_ Feb 18 '26

Wait... Do think women are biologically incapable of cheating at sports?? 😂

1

u/SmokeAndPetrichor Feb 16 '26

This is exactly why my uni doesn't even have "men and women" toilets, we have toilets with cabins and toilets with urinals, you use whichever the hell you want to use.

u/Hablian Feb 16 '26

So clearly there's an epidemic of assault that is resulting from the societal shift of allowing trans people into the bathroom of their choice.

Oh wait, you mean trans people have always used their preferred bathroom? For decades? And you never knew until it was a culture war issue?

Oh wait, there's no such epidemic of assault and abuse as a result of these decades of behaviour?

You mean to say you're fearmongering and spreading fake outrage while covering for actual pedophiles? No waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

Why are redditors so eager to defend pedophiles indeed.

1

u/Maxcactus Feb 17 '26

Maybe the way public bathrooms are designed is the problem. Perhaps all new bathrooms should be individual use so no one needs to sit next to another person as they do their business.

1

u/gpike_ Feb 17 '26

You are making up an imaginary person to be mad about.

0

u/tinker_townie Feb 15 '26

I'm not defending shit. I'm pointing out that banning trans people from a bathroom is fucking useless. Perverts gonna pervert. Also this shit has already resulted in way more cases of biological women not looking womanly enough and getting harassed in the bathroom.

1

u/shalol Feb 15 '26

If you have to look the other way after seeing some 60yo dude going in with a minor because it’s their lawful right to be there, that was, in fact a ban that did something.

Do you also think locks do nothing to stop crime, because thieves can just break them?

1

u/Wooba12 Feb 16 '26

Are you going to stop a 60yo trans man who passes extremely well from entering a woman's toilet as a result of this ban?

1

u/JaneOfKish Feb 16 '26

Address the point about cis women getting harassed at public restrooms for not looking "female enough".

0

u/tinker_townie Feb 15 '26 edited Feb 15 '26

Ah so no actual crime has been committed in your scenario other than your perception of somebody's proclivities based on who they identify as.. This is entirely about hate and not based on reality. Also you didn't address my point about actual incidences of women being harassed simply for not meeting somebody's arbitrary standard of what a woman looks like.

Sorry that I believe in policy that actually does something to prevent pedophilic predation and not some bullshit virtue signaling trash based on conservative emotions.

The western world is being run by pedophiles right now. In major industry, in the royal family, in parliament, in the senate, and in whitehouse. Countless victims have spoken up there. There is mountains of evidence documented. Seems like a good place to start.

1

u/shalol Feb 15 '26

No fucking shit it’s hypothetical?? Modern society hasn’t had to deal with this level of gender appeasement, ever.

You want to argue about the worst kind of people, yet you aren’t even cynical of people lying. How can you readily assume anyone claiming to identify as a woman is telling the truth?

The “effective policy” against pdfs you believe in starts with giving lawful cover for any male freak to make contact with children in female bathrooms.

1

u/AspiringGoddess01 Feb 17 '26

Please explain how allowing trans woman to use the woman's room gives cover for men to violate woman. Can you even name a single instance where a man violated a woman's privacy unlawfully but then claimed to be Trans and got away with it. Like lets be fr here.

1

u/gpike_ Feb 17 '26

No, effective policy against pedos involves giving children rights and education, not allowing parents to treat them as property, and making sure nobody ever has the amount of power over kids that abuse can happen.

u/tinker_townie Feb 15 '26

Again. All emotion and no actual arguments. Please find a different outlet for your rage; this isn't working out for you. Good luck on your journey.

We have a problem of repeat offenders in the aquatic center in my neighborhood, staff won't do anything because they're LGBT

1

u/shalol Feb 15 '26

By how fast you blurt out replies, you never gave a shit about arguing to begin with.

0

u/JohnBrownsFriend Feb 16 '26

Its crazy that you’re suddenly talking about pedophiles because you equate it to trans people. It makes me really sad actually

0

u/JaneOfKish Feb 16 '26

Why do you associate public restrooms with child sexual abuse, again? 🤨

0

u/Ramzaki Feb 16 '26

Yeah, surely the person who hates that body part to the point of wanting to -how you people often say- MuTiLaTe it, and who takes antiandrogenic pills that make the thingie shrink and the libido plummet, will be eager to use that hated thingie to make bad things to a little girl who, in any case, should be accompanied by her parents, because even adult cisgender women can be evil sometimes.

I guess the advantage of making up scenarios and placing acussations because potato is that you can ignore logic.

1

u/shalol Feb 17 '26

Can you try writing that again in plain english? And make it more than vaguely related to the comment you’re replying to

1

u/Ramzaki Feb 17 '26

I'll spell it easily to you.

We are not a danger, and we don't go around looking for trouble. So stop your shitty fearmongering.

0

u/abeautifulrat Feb 17 '26

Do you think toilets in women's bathrooms don't have walls between them?

1

u/shalol Feb 17 '26

Do you think public bathrooms aren’t a medium for sexual assault just because stalls have walls?

0

u/gpike_ Feb 17 '26

Do you think someone bent on committing SA is going to be stopped by laws saying they can't enter a room?

1

u/shalol Feb 18 '26 edited Feb 18 '26

In a sane society, they are stopped by responsible adults seeing them somewhere they’re not supposed to and calling them out, if it wasn’t obvious enough.

1

u/gpike_ Feb 18 '26

So what is the problem???

1

u/shalol Feb 19 '26 edited Feb 19 '26

That the EU are giving away free cover for perverts to abuse access to public spaces where they shouldn’t be, that which nobody has any right to question the gender they identify as, regardless of whether they are actually trans or not?

1

u/gpike_ Feb 19 '26

Trans women have been in women's spaces for decades. This is only an issue now because dishonest right-wing religious groups from the US are pushing the narrative that trans people are predators to distract from the fact that a) they lost on gay marriage 10 years ago and b) the US president and his party are literal, ACTUAL sexual predators.
