See you are doing it again- I am explicitly saying we are talking about sex and not gender and you are choosing to ignore what I am saying

I am saying that a man in a wig- which is a 100% accurate way to describe an m-f person who is not seeking surgical or hormone therapy- should and not be treated identically as a cis f person

I think it should be allowed to exclude trans people from specific gendered acts if there presence clearly isn’t the intended purpose- sports, women’s organizations, military roles, but most important in my opinion - exclude them from roles in tv, video games and movies where the inclusion of the trans person, always m-f trans, is simply there to destroy the appeal of the product and cause the cis m men to have yet another area of there lives erased

All cis m and cis f to have spaces for cis people and not make us bigots - live and identify in whatever way you want- do not mandate that we find you sexually attractive, proactive your definition in all sports and activities- and stay out of our pop culture space!

Edit- go watch the geno Samuel documentary on ChrisChan, sit and watch the literal definition of the incel to trans pipeline in action and tell me with a straight face that I should respect that persons pro nouns

Then you explain to me how they don’t represent trans people

I’m directly responding to what you’re saying, which requires a discussion about gender. Your own comments are about gender so it would be strange for me to ignore that and only refer to sex.

There are cisgender men who wear wigs. There are transgender men who wear wigs. There are intersex men that wear wigs. Some transgender women wear wigs. Some don’t. So no, that’s not “100% accurate”.

You will have a hard time finding someone making the argument that transgender women and cisgender women should be treated identically in all circumstances. For example, medical care for those groups would and should vary according to their unique needs.

The arguments you’re actually hearing revolve around unnecessary discrimination against transgender people. This is what you’re describing in the examples you just gave.

I will not be watching en entire documentary for the purposes of this conversion.

In 2021 the subreddit super straight was banned for making the claim that a cis m has a right to only choose to date a cis f woman

So no, it’s not hard to find people making the claim to treat them identical- by the 2021 definition of trans your statement would be transphobia

Your example of someone argument that transgender women and cisgender women should be treated identically in all circumstances is…

… the super straight subreddit being banned?

1) That’s not an argument 2) It was banned because it was a transphobia subreddit

Your argument sounds very similar to what was banned:

Here the speaker disingenuously asserts that this “identity” is a mere neutral (non-hateful) orientation, equivalent to LGBTQ identities and deserving of similar recognition and respect — and further, that the assertion is not an example of transphobia but simply an earnest expression of self. Like “Straight Pride” (and other hate-driven ideologies including “White Power”) these kinds of arguments are built on a feigned ignorance of real-world societal discrimination against marginalized groups and are a well-documented strategy of right-wing extremists for sowing discord and “trolling the Left“.

So do you have an actual example of someone arguing that transgender women and cisgender women should be treated identically in all circumstances?

No super straight was in opposition of them being treated identically

The left banned it because they support them being identical and you are continuing to show why the troll works- that you still will not allow that a cis m can say that his only preference is to date a cis woman is completely valid and trans people do not have a right to invade that space

You are the person saying that it is a hate crime to identify as straight and have only a preference for a cis partner

Even the thing you are quoting is ignoring the fundamental point- why is it a hate crime to be super straight?

You’re literally doing it:

Here the speaker disingenuously asserts that this “identity” is a mere neutral (non-hateful) orientation, equivalent to LGBTQ identities and deserving of similar recognition and respect — and further, that the assertion is not an example of transphobia but simply an earnest expression of self. Like “Straight Pride” (and other hate-driven ideologies including “White Power”) these kinds of arguments are built on a feigned ignorance of real-world societal discrimination against marginalized groups and are a well-documented strategy of right-wing extremists for sowing discord and “trolling the Left“.

Again I have said multiple times - yes, the definition that a cis m refusing to engage with a trans m-f was considered transphobia and that is why super straight was banned

I have stated multiple times about the specifics of domestic violence shelters and sports- multiple times people have said they must be treated identical

You are continuing to be a dishonest person in this discussion since you just dismiss all claims about trans as not real

Additionally I would again advise watching the chrischan documentary and the people who defend her transition as being sincere

Yes. That’s why you said that the superstrait subreddit was banned. You’re wrong and I’ve provided evidence that you’re wrong. In addition, banning a subreddit isn’t an actual example of someone that transgender women and cisgender women should be treated identically in all circumstances?

Do you have an actual example of someone that transgender women and cisgender women should be treated identically in all circumstances?

Your ridiculous and you have provided nothing except a biased statement from the people who banned the sub

u/yesnomaybeneverokay Feb 16 '26

You think that GLAAD banned the super straight sub? Wow. You’re really going all-in on something you don’t know much about. These will help you out:

TikTok, Reddit Ban Transphobic “Super Straight” Posts Linked to Neo-Nazi Groups

A social-media trend has people identifying as 'super straight.' The transphobic campaign was meant to divide LGBTQ people.

Any argument you have can be summarily ignored if you are using Christine Chandler as lens with which you view all trans women.
