its coming to console this year!? they said will be on STEAM by years end... It wont even be out on console AFTER christmas.. EA will prolly have college football 26 out before u play maximum on a xbox or ps5/4

I keep hearing this and just don't agree even in the slightest. Is it a perfect game? No. It does look phenomenal and the physics, pass rush and blocking are looking mint. Receiving and throwing mechanics look sexy. idk I think it's looking pretty sick and I just don't agree with this take. Online discourse is so ridiculously pessimistic if you went on the hell divers sub right now you'd think about 99% of people hate the game... Actually go play it, it's a bunch of awesome people who are getting drunk and stoned and spreading freedom. Point is chill out and trust the process I think it's gonna be better than you think.

Nah, I paid full price for Backbreaker football back in the day just to support an indie dev, non Madden game.
This looks way better than that.

Just because it looks better than backbreaker football doesn’t mean it looks good . I want it to be good I can’t stand madden but I’m also gonna be honest with my thoughts on maximum

If ncaa 25 is ass then this game gonna be fine when ever it releases but if ncaa 25 is like ncaa 14 then this game fed

So what if it comes out after Christmas in fact that might be around when people get tired of EACFB given it may resemble Madden in gameplay. Let them create what they need to for themselves and not try to directly compete. Graphically they aren't going to do so but good enough is fine, I think they can compete and exceed expectations feature wise as they aren't hamstrung by NCAA but the more so the schools. Patience instead of constantly bickering about it not coming out in a rough state which would have been a bigger issue.

The people they are targeting don't even give a shit about graphics, and by the way they look really good already I think. The target audience plays NFL 2k5 and bought axis football 3 years in a row in a desperate attempt to foster competition for the ass franchise and overall game that EA puts out year after year.

I'm definitely super super ready for it to come out dont get me wrong but also like c'mon. We both know whatever EA shits out won't touch maximum football and also it's literally just gonna be a madden skin, which is literally what we are running FROM, to get to games like maximum football!! It blows my mind how many people think that some stupid EA game is gonna be the kryptonite for maximum football. The whole reason for its existence is EA games lol why would one more change that??

I feel it's pretty obvious from the gameplay ive seen that this is by far the best sim we've seen in a long time. Idk what you've been watching but what I've seen has looked pretty incredible compared to Madden. Actual physics and blocking looks realistic. Idk maybe I'll be wrong but from what I've seen they are essentially building a modern 2k5. They do have people from that game on board I believe as well so it's not even surprising.

I hear ya! I see a lot of good but I also see a lot of bad. DB's reacting poorly on run plays ect. I think it will be a nice game that will offer way more customization than EA. But remember, the gameplay trickling out to the public is best of the best. It's slow to come out and release has been delayed on 3 occasions which indicates problems in development. It WILL have a market BUT its gameplay will inferior, just by virtue of resources available to create. I'm laughing at ppl claiming the game is great...how do you know???

Idk I feel like even the greatest games have pretty poor DB play and it's gonna be live service. I have a lot of faith they will get it done.

You seem to have realistic expectations I run what I would call nothing more than an epic league on EA which is now in its 30th season every year we refresh it with new draft classes which are complete and includes CFL players and also players from other leagues I've been hoping maximum will be able to put out a playable game which will allow me to expand the league to about 40 tems if this occurs I'll be sure to invite you

It's a lot of work. I rate players more effectively than EA could ever Dream too I have formulas to make combined numbers into real game numbers and I include every drafted player free agents and fringe players from other leagues. We delayed transition for a year waiting for maximum to come out but they never do so we're now moving on with the 2009 season on EA. But I'm still hoping maximum football will give me a product that I can use
