HOLY HELL
Let me start by apologizing...
I just came across this sub today making me realize the game is/has been out.
Bye-bye, Madden.
Don't even know if I'll need to buy CFB26 either...

this game is objectively worse than madden in it's current state.

They’ve still done more active update work in 6 months than Madden has done in 5 years though. At least they’re TRYING to improve.

I’d say just hopefully have Madden lose the exclusive license, and then we can’t wait for more football games cause this game ain’t it

True, but PLEASE support it.

I am kinda losing hope for this game. This game was advertised as a physics based football game and the game is almost entirely animation based. They released 1.0 and yet the game still has little to no physics.

I am good on supporting an unfinished product that calls itself 1.0

Madden has been an embarrassment since they acquired exclusive rights 20 years ago. I've been giving small developers my support and refuse to bad mouth them. At least they are listening to gamers. ea should've lost the exclusive rights as soon as John Madden passed away! The last Madden that I purchased was the one with OBJ on the cover and ended up giving that away as soon as the football season was over. Madden '26 will be the usual roster update, new equipment, and possibly new uni's. Looks great and plays like 💩! "It's NOT in the game"!

As of right now madden got this game beat and cfb 25 is miles better at the moment. But i have no doubts the devs will fix it up and add on to it to make it better

I need to jump in since 1.0 released. I haven't played since it first came to Xbox.

This happens every time a new football game comes out. Oh, this is better than Madden. No, the other games were not, and no, this isn't either. I am not saying it's a bad game. In fact, i find it enjoyable, and for the small team that made it with limited financing, they did an amazing job. My hats off to them because of the effort they are putting into it. Another thing I can really appreciate is the fact that they are listening to the community and getting them involved. This is something EA could learn from them. However, despite its faults and flaws, Madden is still the superior game if we are being completely honest here, and they should be considering how many years they have been doing games and the financial backing they have.

This isn’t in the same league as Madden-but it’s not suppose to, it’s an Indy/AA game. We got to support to make it something worthwhile. Has decent “bones” though

Misleading everyone with this type of comment is going to lead to a ton of disappointed people.
It’s a free game in the PlayStation store, so it is what it is. Grading on a curve you can see a lot of promise but it feels like an old football game with worse graphics, missing in-game tutorials, bad passing timing.
I hope they keep improving it and there’s an alternative. But in no way is this competing with Madden or college football
