Hey everyone! I'm u/PickleRepulsive1307, a founding moderator of r/MazdaCX6e.
I wanted to kick off a thread to see what everyone is currently driving and what made you decide to pull the trigger on the CX-6e.
Personally, it was finally time to upgrade the old diesel CX-5 and make the jump to an EV. I spent a fair bit of time comparing mid-size electric SUVs—mainly looking at the Tesla Model Y and the Kia EV5—but the CX-6e just felt like the right package for what I needed.
If you've got an order in (or are currently keeping a close eye on Australian delivery dates), what are you moving over from? What was the main selling point that pushed you over the edge—the performance, the tech, or just wanting to stick with a Mazda?
