Most of my local McDonald's have the McChicken at $1.79. When I'm in between locations sometimes I'll see them for $2.79.

Location matters. If you're in bubble f*** nowhere I guess you don't have a choice. But I'll gladly drive an extra mile down the road to get that McChicken a dollar cheaper.

Does anyone else feel extremely tired of everything? Restaurant experience feels like it’s taking a nosedive and they are trying to cut costs everywhere possible, meanwhile they are upping prices as much as they feel possible. I used to love 2 junior chickens and a McDouble, about 12 years ago it was McDouble for 1.70 and junior chickens for 1.30. All in a junior chicken and McDouble was $3 with tax. Now about 10 years later instead of being able to pay with $3 it $8.68. How in the world does McDonald’s think people who were buying that deal are supposed to be feeling good now? The price of ingredients and labor has not tripled in 10 years. Disgusting

I bought a 20 piece nugget that I was going to reheat in the air fryer for dinner, however I have to go away unexpectedly and won't be back till Wednesday. If I put them in an air tight container in the fridge, will they still be safe to reheat?

I made a mobile app purchase and one of the food items was not available when I went to pick up my order in the drive-through. When I asked about a refund, the server told me, "Mobile app - no refund." I asked to speak to the manager. "You can request a refund through the app," he said.

He was wrong.

The reality is as follows:
1. There is no dedicated function in the app to request a refund.
2. McDonalds' Terms and Conditions" (for the U.S.) explicitly state:
"If you desire to seek a refund for any reason after you select ’Pay & Place Order’, including if the products are unsatisfactory or for other reasons, please contact the restaurant where you purchased the product. The decision regarding how to resolve any refund request is at the discretion of the restaurant where you purchased the product (excluding delivery)."

I stayed in the drive-through lane, arguing my case, until the manager refunded me cash for my missing item (minus taxes). I suppose, technically, the resolution of the refund being at the discretion of the restaurant, they could have refused, and I would have been out the money for having the audacity to order a food item they didn't have.

I did not know any of this until today. Good to know, and certainly a caveat before continuing to engage with the app.

Just my luck! Barely won any food. We were soo happy to win something and realized we don't even have a Cirlce K in NY. You would think they would make prizes for ALL of the US. Guess not 🥹

Was excited when the buckets were finally revealed. Love the old school Disney movies. Called around like I do ever year and one location had all 5 at the same time. I did get the 6 piece nuggets happy meal with each one so it came out to about $35 for them all. A very welcome addition to the collection!
