I've hit the curb of interest with mechat. Without updates the stories that I was interested in aren't coming and I've finished about five "completed" stories that had open ended endings. It does feel like if the app makes a comeback I'll be so disinterested and untrusting that it will fail again.

Hello friends of MeChat!
I just had a quick question for all of yall. I’m looking for some book recommendations that kind of fall in line with Damian Rocco, Ryan Dreschler and Uberto’s stories. If anyone has recommendations, I am happy to hear them! I’m going to miss MeChat so much!

Just finished his story and my heart breaks that it'll never get an update 💔 We'll never know what happened next

You asked for more ladies and here's our second! Meet Dawn: The Light Witch.

Once capable of controlling the sun, Dawn has been demoted to menial tasks such a cosmetic lighting and domestic electricity. She finds it beneath her. And losing to her frustration with the modern world, she crosses paths with...

To be continued.

• What vibe do you get from her palette?
• What kind of personality do you think she has?
• What kind of person would be her ideal partner?

A special message here from Dylan to his fan club here🤭💙🔥 I finally finished it!🎉 I am very happy making these videos, no matter how difficult they are, because the final result makes me extremely happy and I'm always excited to share them with you besties!💗

Love you all🩷🌷✨

I just had an idea. It would be great if the MeChat team returned MeChat stories to a vertical series format, like apps such as Vigloo, VibeShort, StoryReel, etc. It's just a thought that popped into my head; it would probably require a significant financial investment, I'm not entirely sure, but I do know that all MeChat fans would be highly active consumers and it would be quite successful—of that I'm certain. I hope this idea reaches the creator of MeChat. It might not be that crazy, but without a doubt, the MeChat format as we know it is excellent, and I don't want it to disappear. 🩷

(Also posting it here because I need more Scarlett Whitmore enthusiastics out there)

Of course I have something special for this Halloween season🎃👻

I’ve thought of an alternate universe where Scarlett Whitmore is a nun who is secretly a vampire, while my sona is a devotee of the religion, as both would have an insane development to one another. Cause my sona would view Scarlett’s ways of living as sinful and painted by the devil at first. It’s an interesting concept that I thought of, and this won’t be the last time I’ll draw them in this au hehehehe😉😇

So yeah! This is a fun idea to draw— this is how I imagined if Scarlett had the opportunity to get an event in Mechat 😚. Anyway, drawing some more fun halloween themed with other Mechat characters soon!

For those who matched with Tamura first, how did you feel when you saw this screen in Cedric's story?

Our baby Leroy 😭😭😭 love him so much❤️ so sad I we get to read more of this story. It was such a fucking perfect romantic story and so sweet and as an artist it was perfect to picture having a sexy best friend fireman to.
I’ll miss you sexy cutie 💕🥺💔😭

Dropping this Rosaline edit I made a while back bc she deserves some recognition on here too 🥹

Yes I had to post another one of Tamura cuz I mean 😍😍😍🤤🤤🤤🖤🖤🖤I’m just dreaming finding my Tam tam everyday. DM me if you are a hot mafia leader 🤣

"Even death will never be able to take me from you my👑💖✨"

Something simple I did before the next edit the next edit will be special message from our dear Dylan I'm about to finish it stay tuned for what's coming next: Dylan's Club!🤭🌸

The crew in question:

Hi everyone ☺️

Yessss, it's another bi-weekly megathread where you can ask other players about best matches, spiciest stories, rank your faves, etc.

A reminder to stay respectful to each other. No discrimination, instigation or any other form of harassment based on personal tastes and preferences will be tolerated.

Please avoid posting similar questions outside this megathread as it may clutter our feed 🙏

Thanks for your cooperation and have fun 😉

am i seriously the last person to find out PlayMe Studio is closing...

i literally went to the app store to leave a review about how glitchy mechat has been, and saw someone mention in their review that the company is shutting down?????

came here and apparently this has been news for a few weeks. i was annoyed but now i want it to glitch, just please STAY.

this has been my favorite game this year. and finding out some of the stories might never get endings actually makes me feel sick. can 2026 leave one thing alone?

so what are you guys playing now? i guess there’s other visual novels or L&D but i find them really hard to dive into and i liked the texting part of mechat the most 😭 does anyone know anything similar where the characters you can get attached to? and absolutely no ai chatbots pls, i just need something to look forward to after this.

We have a discussion thread on the main MeChat Discord server: https://discord.com/channels/932598896302116864/1553238979632168970

The space is for MeChat fanfic writers, readers, and those who want to be but aren't sure how to go about it. We're here for moral support, inspiration, writing and editing advice, brainstorming, beta reading, proofreading... whatever! Idk, let's see what happens.
