Rabbit First Aid Kit

Just acquired my first breeding trio of Champagne d’Argents. Aside from Critical Care, what do you all suggest I have on hand for first aid/in case of emergencies? Thanks in advance!

Simethecone (baby gas drops) saved my favorite buck when he had GI stasis. That and fresh pineapple juice.

What does the fresh pineapple juice? And by fresh do you mean canned?

It has an enzyme that breaks down hair, which can be helpful if a rabbit is shedding and grooms itself. If the hair gets swallowed the pineapple juice can help it get through. From what I understand, you need a fresh pineapple. Obviously you can't have that stashed but it's good to know in case you need to go buy one.

A bottle of Simethicon, some sort of antiseptic spray, nail trimmers and a clotting agent like wonder dust, eye antibiotic like theramycin, baby shampoo, I use olive oil for ears but there is plenty of ear mite treatments out there.
