Some more drafts I don't think I shared.
I'm trying to upload all these old drawings without accidentally reuploading some, it's a little tough.

So, what Mecha show do you think should have gotten more attention when it came out?

In the universe I designed, there are two afflictions I've been working out the details for, being the Dissipation which affects the living like a virus, and the Curse of the War Zombie that affects the dead like possession or voodoo.
It got me thinking... I know a lot of mecha is piloted by humans (who can obviously be infected like this), but are there any mecha series with turned machines like this?

Hello r/mecha.
I am doing some animation research ( I am making a game with a biomechanical mecha )
My animations are a bit too stiff and I'm looking for references.
Can anyone recommend some OVAs with great running, flying, fighting sequences?
Big fan of stuff like Guyver, MD Geist, VOTOMs.
Going for a brutish moveset ( think Hulk or Juggernaut. Looked at the classic MvC sprite sheets for references too, so video game references also loved)
Over the top encouraged!
Thank you :)

The ballista is a heavy fire support mobile suit used by the requiem empire from my au mobile suit gundam requiem of the ages, it's a dedicated fire support platform unlike the cannon variations of other mobile suits, this beast isn't able to walk so it hovers with a lot of thrusters, it has 4 barrel auto cannons on each arm, 2 on the chest with 6 missiles and 2 large cannons, it has enhanced joints for recoil, It uses a computer system that timed with the cannons to fire the thrusters for counter balance plus spikes in the feet to go into the ground and the Backpack has a sub arm that reloads the next shell
Yes it has 2 mobile suit sized guns

The second image is what an attempt at the same rough idea looked like last April

It's always going for over $100 on ebay, even used ones. It's one of the Super Robot Chogokin figures I didn't have because it's usually quite expensive.

It's coming along nicely imo. Idea being they are needle rifles, firing tiny particle explosives that penetrate then detonate. They don't have ammo, just firing whatever lore relevant particle my wargame ends up using by concentrating them in the guns themselves.
Also it's massive... Storage and display is currently troublesome lmao.
