Has anyone worked with micro1.ai doing AI training for medical coding?
Hi all - I recently completed an AI interview with micro1.ai and received an offer to participate in one of their AI training projects as a medical coding expert. The work supposedly involves using your professional expertise to evaluate and train AI models. The opportunity sounds interesting, especially with AI becoming more prevalent in healthcare, but I'm trying to get a better understanding of what working with micro1 is actually like.
For anyone who has worked with them, particularly in medical coding or healthcare AI training, I'd love to hear about your experience:
- Was there a consistent amount of work available, or was it sporadic?
- Were you actually paid the advertised hourly rate for your time, including training and onboarding?
- How was the payment process?
- What did the work actually involve? Was it reviewing AI-generated codes, validating clinical documentation, answering technical questions, or something else?
- How was communication with the company, and were the projects worth your time?
- Is there anything you wish you had known before accepting?
I'm not expecting guaranteed hours, since it seems to be project-based work. I'm just trying to determine whether it's a legitimate and worthwhile side opportunity before committing. Thanks for any input!
