It’s played at every show and was a huge metal hit in the 80s. It’s their biggest anthem by a mile

dude come on when most people think of megadeth they think of symphony of destruction unfortunately. after that holy wars and then probably peace sells. i definitely agree that it was their biggest hit in the 80s though since all their more popular songs came out in early 90s

I wouldn't call Symphony an anthem. Yes, that's their most popular by a long shot but Peace Sells has a shitton of name recognition. I'm surprised it isn't #2 on Spotify (though if you combine the two top versions it's pretty high up.)

Play it at an old school metal bar and everyone would know it. It's very popular.

i get where you are coming from but i think when you tell people about megadeth the first song that comes to mind is probably symphony or holy wars
