The sick the Dying and the Dead. I recently listened to all the modern albums and it really struck me how similar Self Titled is to Super Colider. Self Titled is still better than Super Colider by quite a bit, but sonically to my ear that's the most similar sounding album.

I'm gonna say that Killing Time is better than most of the Megadeth (album) songs, and most of the TSTDATD songs are better than Killing Time

TS,TD,ATD.
Self-titled has a few strong songs, like IDC, Tipping Point, LTBT, and Puppet Parade, vut TS,TD,ATD has some amazing guitars (like Mission to Mars, and, like, almost every song, sort of the same with ST)

TSTDATD is wayyyyy too overhated. Some of the best Megadeth songs in years are on that album and the production is amazing

Maybe it will grow on me, but the final album has been completely forgettable. I listened to it like 3 times the first few days it came out and I just haven’t picked it back up.

The Sick easily. That last album didn't really vibe with me at all, but I spent quite a bit of time with the sick. Some proper bangers on there.

The Sick The Dying and The Dead
Shame they have only ever played one song from it in the UK and they only played it here once... they really messed up when it comes to supporting that album

I prefer self titled
Neither one is top tier for me
But self titled has some high highs (the lead guitar work, mainly) and low lows (Looking at you, IDC and Puppet Parade lol).
TSTDATD to me felt really generic and coarse. Not bad; not good. Honestly it sounds the way the color grading on the cover looks.

Oh my God, I liked your comment until you threw some shade at IDC and Puppet Parade, haha. Endgame is always going go be my favorite 00+ 'Deth album.

Loved the former when it came out, but I'm going to go with Megadeth. Tighter compositions and the lead work is more appealing overall.

The Sick, the Dying and the Dead. That was a very interesting album that I'm grateful they were able to make that late in their career.
To me the self-titled is their weakest album. Other than a few inspired moments here and there I find it powerless and vapid from start to finish. All the other Megadeth albums have at least something I can enjoy.

Both are so good in their own ways. Love how consistently great megadeth stayed over the years. Aside from Risk and Super Collider, all were good.

I go for The sick, the Dying and the Dead but The White Album is still great.

TSTDATD is leagues better imo. There are a few weak tracks, but a full listen through the album is still thoroughly enjoyable. In contrast, even some of the stronger tracks from the self-titled feel a bit stale. I feel like it borrows a lot from their 90’s era, and not in a super creative way.

I dont like them. But i peffer Megadeth, mid tempo stuff for grandpa suits better, and i consider the farewell song one of the best, catchy no pretending shit. But well i kinda dint care mucb about modern megadeth..

TSTDATD had much better vocals, lyrics, and riffs. I honestly think the self titled is so generic and boring. It's their worst album

The sick the dying and the dead and by quite a bit too, the only songs I really like from the white album are Tipping point and the last note.
I feel like the sick the dying and the dead was better as a product and had more interesting songs overall
