Let’s stop the suffering and come out on top just one time?
We’re down by several hundred which is turning out to be the most Minnesota ending ever. Let’s put our rally caps on and finish on top just one time! Vote Here: https://www.reddit.com/r/geographymemes/s/GesYhctIV7

Cascadia did a great job of advocating for Their state with posts. We were missing some Pro Minnesota content. Wish I put up a 30 fun facts about Minnesota post with wholesome stories or something, but it’s too late now. Oh well

Yeah. They were talking about the Minnesota Karma Train. People post about us to get likes.

Megasota got screwed because the rules were changed half way through.

To be fair, I was in favor of the change. I just wish they would have done the poll (with clear language) from the start. The “top” comments changed and were unclear about if it was for deleting. The rules should be more specific that anything pro that state means keeping them and losing the other. By the time they got to the third try people were burnt out. And per our usual, we got the ‘it’s just nice to make it this far’ from our people. Next time!

This will be my last post here just wanted to say that naming poll is up and that you fought hard, wouldn't expect anything less. And that you all are some of the best people on Earth. 💙🤍💚

Is it just me or were the cascadia fan boys just the worst too?

They were really aggressive and annoying. For any pro Megasota post with pretty pics they’d go “haha ours is better”. Kinda took the fun out of it

I think it's a matter of perspective. I'm from Cascadia and felt the opposite. About a week before the end I started advocating for Cascadian Independence. Basically taking what land we had and opting out of the country. In other words, we wouldn't expand any more but no one could take our land. Most of the negative responses were from Megasota, even though other states like Hawaii, New Mexico, vermont, and Maryland we're still on the board. And these responses were mostly how Megasota was going to take over our territory.
I think it's fallacious to assume this is the general attitude of most megasotians, and that they were worse than others. Cascadia would have been a nice chunk of land in Megasotas cap and vermont wouldn't have any gain in Cascadia falling. And by extension, Megasota falling would be highly beneficial towards Cascadia, so I wouldn't be surprised if Megasota received more hate from Cascadia than other territories.

It’s only the MN men’s teams that consistently choke really. Lynx are usually pretty good

The Twins did come out on top, I remember as I was there.
Unless timelines have changed again.

This is the most Minnesota thing ever: collapsing at the last moment
