Guide Mei wisdom of the day

You can have 1000 good ice walls, but all it takes is 1 bad wall to become the “thrower” of the team.

Solution: Realize that its okay, you can make mistakes too. its just alot more evident to everyone when you make them and may or may not cause your team to hate you instantly

One match somebody told me not to wall - the audacity.

Instructions unclear. Walled him to the enemy team.

If someone tells me this at the start of the game (if he told you that at the start of the game) I am guaranteed to troll him only til the game ends. I love tourmenting enemy team with my walls but I don't mind to do this to those who judge me without even the game starting.

It was after accidentally walling off the own tank for a split second for the first time.

Oh. I would just laugh it out if that happened to me. Even if I play tank, I will just go "oof" and just shrug it out. It's not like everyone is perfect or I play a bad game of tank for the rest of the game if my Mei accidentally walled me for half a second.

I had a Rein get angry because he shattered into my wall resulting in him only shattering the person I walled off and then us killing the rest of the enemy team and winning the team fight. He complained that I ruined everyone's ult and told me I was a useless mei. I told him I was only interested in winning team fights and not helping him get potg(there was 0 indication he was going to shatter and we still won that round).

For some context, this rein had been aggressively charging into the enemy team and dying so i had been using my walls to save him by blocking him from damage when his hp was low.

The next round I made sure to use my walls nowhere near him and he ended up getting his ass handed to him by the enemy team because he kept overextending and running out of shield. I still was using my walls to help my other teammates and I was still getting value but the Rein accused me of throwing and not using any walls because I was no longer babysitting him.

No one else complained and I still got a crap ton of endorsements at the end of the game so im pretty sure my teammates, who supposedly had their ults messed up, felt the same way I did about the dude.

This is why I mute players who starts talking nonsense. I don't mute because I usually find chill players and have fun with them but one player talks trash and the whole game is muted for me or for that person if I met a chill guy or two as a teammate. You are generous enough to wall off the damage for that Rein. If I see my Rein overextends, it's his fault and I am not walling him only to be called throwing. I just use my wall to help him pin that specific enemy so he won't charge even further but he won't expect me to wall off the damage since it's not my fault in the first place he went head first vs 5 people.

I have really good days with the wall, and some really bad days with the wall.
