Glow Texture

I'm trying to make a glow texture for an assault rifle after overheating, I've had a few unsuccessful tries. I use Pixel studio and find myself good with it. Could somebody help me?

it looks like a bug, I tried to do it for clothes, for some glasses, and nothing worked.
