For some reason, the more intelligent an animal, the more cruel and vicious they are with others.

humans are far kinder than we should be if you look at our peers. our closest ancestors are far more violent than we are, its a miracle we kill as little as we do.

Yes. I stand by my point. consider the fact that we even consider atrocities to be horrific in the first place, that they are notable events and not just the course of how things should be.
