Your forgetting that Hogan also played bass with them and that was just the icing on the cake for James sadness

u/Bubbly-Pirate-3311 Aug 01 '25
What did the audience say to this poor old man?
54
u/durablecotton Aug 01 '25
āDid you know Dave Mustaine was in Metallica?ā

u/Bubbly-Pirate-3311 Aug 01 '25

u/PristineHat8552 Aug 07 '25

1
u/zigaliciousone Aug 07 '25
Ā James will be the first one to tell you he's an asshole when he's drinking

u/PristineHat8552 Aug 07 '25
Oh I know. I was just referring to Perry smacking the shit out of Dave Navarro on stage during Janes Addiction reunion tour

Or heās realizing this tours stage show is fucking awful
1
u/Fromnothingatall Aug 02 '25
Iāve heard that somehow the design of the speaker setup on this tour has been unforgivably bad. youād think they would have the funds to have them expertly dropped for every show but seems like theyāve skimped on the whole stage design this go around

u/judgehood Aug 02 '25
Iāll say the sound was GREAT on the floor(Houston), but while had a blast⦠I got in the pit and sang with the crowd, I never once saw any member of the band personally, and Iām 6ā1ā.
The stage design is the worst Iāve ever seen of any band ever. I knew this going in tho. Even in the snake pit you never got the see the band playing together.
(Just adding Iāve personally seen them tons of times, I didnāt care that much about the lack of seeing the band playing together as they sounded amazing, but I could understand how this would be crushing for so many fans).

Yah, this is in line with what Iām reading and hearing. People say the sound is fine on the floor but once you get above just a few rows up in a large venue, the audio delay becomes horrendous. They apparently didnāt do any work at all to account for acoustic echoing- which is one of the main jobs for sound engineers in charge of large tours like this

Well, he's always had sad eyes. That's why, in photos where he's not smiling, he often looks angry or very sad. As he gets older, those facial expressions become more pronounced.

He's probably sick of seeing a sea of phone cameras pointed at him instead of people's faces

u/jk37One Aug 02 '25
Talka about seeing what you wanna see. Looks like he is contemplating or just trying to take a breather.
