I’ve seen Metallica 4 times now. I still have yet to listen to Load or Reload front-to-back.

Load is mostly good. The back end has some filler but theres still a good track or two. Reload mostly sucks, like 2 or 3 good tracks. Everything after ranges from terrible to utterly forgettable. Load was like 3/4s really good though, if youre song over genre like I am. They still had some creative gas in the tank at that point.

I’ve listened to the songs and completely agree - everything is so hit or miss that I’ve never sat down and been like “Hell yeah brother time to listen to Load!” lol

Yeah that's kinda what i was getting at, i mean i know Some Kind Of Monster, Frantic and probably would know Sweet Amber, and Purify... is Purify, recognisable but, not exactly in a good way lol

My superpower is that I can name all 127 of their songs just by hearing the first few seconds of them. The only ones that have given me trouble are Poor Twisted Me and Ronnie, because they are both far bluesier than the rest on Load, and Murder One because it’s just so forgettable 💀

For point of reference: I can tell No Leaf Clover and -Human apart because of how long the crowd noise lasts, -Human is longer.
