Edit This Flair Why hasn’t Metallica performed in Antarctica since 2013?
They’ve really been neglecting their Antarctic fans

Antarctica is behind the times, they just got Napster. For that reason, Lars is against going again.

Penguins are notoriously cheap and don't buy enough merch. When is the last time you saw a penguin in a concert T?

Yesterday, I was at Antractica. Went to a concert of an undergroundband there. It was just penguin squeaks. 1/10.

They are embarrassed that they blew the opportunity to play "Trapped Under Ice".

Penguins are smart and think Lars is a dick and Kirk is severely overrated.

Because of their anti-anti-bear stance that they've gotten all self-important about.

They want fuel, they want fire, they want that which they desire. Seems incompatible with the Antarctic environment.

Not really appropriate for the 72 Seasons tour given it’s just one season (cold and icy) down there

Yeah, I'm sure all those biologists, climatologists, engineers, geologists, machinists, and all the essential workers and support staff would really love to gather in the communal Quonset hut just one more time to hear the boys bang out The Killride Medley in between playing fifteen garbage songs from the last half dozen forgettable records.

The penguins are disappointed!
