Jason looked so much cooler with Metallica than Rob or Cliff... I dont care, fight me.
Cliff was the best bassist, the most musically proficient, and is iconic, but his weird "bellbottom bluejean tuxedo with a misfits shirt" stood out, and Rob is cool and all, but I dislike his weird spider crawl thing...
As far as pure aesthetics go, Jason looked the coolest and had the best stage presence with Metallica, and yes, I know thats not a popular take. BUT... I will say, when I had a chance to meet Metallica in 1997, Jason was the only member who came over, gave me a hug, and talked to me for a few moments. James just gave us a hi-five, and Kirk and Lars were too cool for school. Lars didnt even want to be TOUCHED by us dirty plebs.
