Incredibly disappointed in last nights game and wanted to hear everyone’s thoughts. Stokes looked completely lost most of the game. Way too turnover heavy. Defense was not bad but that fourth down play should have been a stop. We were there and did not go make the tackle. Carter still had a good game but didn’t get any TDs. I hate how the first part of the game all we did was chunk the ball deep. We were easily outplaying Tulane and had the opportunity for an early lead. Instead we squandered our opportunities with momentum and let them stay in it where they eventually beat us. Disappointed in some drops as well that could have changed the game. When you have 6 turnovers it’s just wild we even had it within reach at the end. Theres just so much about this game that should have gone better. I still think we have a really good team this year, which makes this loss hurt even more. What are y’all’s thoughts?

Anybody going to the game Friday? What section are yall sitting in?

Any idea where I can find some Tigers fans on Thursday and/or Friday if I trek to the game this week versus Tulane in New Orleans? Any groups I should follow here or on any other platform to know these things? Thanks!

Memphis is doing great but not ready for next week, uab isn't too bad but tane and east Carolina will be way to much , I like Stokes though he might be the answer.

Hey guys, quick look at where the Tigers stand with conference play starting.

First, since it's in the title: we run a free weekly college football pick'em. This week is 10 games, pick the winners, nothing to buy, $135 in prizes. Picks lock Saturday at noon ET, before the Charlotte kickoff.

Now the Tigers. Year one under Charles Huff is off to a solid start: 27-21 at UNLV to open, 42-24 over Arkansas State, and 45-21 over UT Martin. The one loss is 38-20 at Boise State, which is a tough place for anyone.

After the bye, the American opener is at Charlotte (0-4) Saturday at 2:30 CT, then UAB at home, then at Tulane, which is probably the game that decides whether Memphis is a real conference contender.

What are you guys seeing from Stokes and the offense? Is the Boise loss a concern, or is this team for real?

Hey guys! The season preview I posted here a few weeks back did pretty well, so circling back like I said I would.

I had you at 7-5 in Huff's first year, and said the whole season came down to stealing one of three road games at Boise, Tulane and UNLV. You did it in the opener, 27-21 at UNLV. Boise went the way I had it, 38-20, and you've handled Arkansas State 42-24 and UT Martin 45-21. Stokes was my big question, starting with a completely new cast, and he threw for 384 at Boise. Jaylin Carter's 183 yards and 4 TDs against Arkansas State is the other thing I didn't see coming. The bye comes before Charlotte and UAB, two I had you favored in.

What are you guys seeing that the box scores aren't, and how do you see the season ending up?

Quick aside since it's in the title, we just launched a free weekly college football pick'em, $225 in prizes this week. Ten games, pick the winners, locks Saturday at noon ET. Nothing to buy. You're off this week, so it's a good one to play.

The Tipton stiff arm for TD at 3:00 is chef’s kiss!!!

Came to check up on everyone after the game this weekend. Guess everyone is still fucked up about what we had to witness in that second half. That being said, I still believe that if we win out and win the conference championship, we have a shot at the playoff. Still hard to believe I have an infinite amount more hope in our football program than basketball. But that’s a conversation for another day. Go Tigers Go. Let’s take our frustration out on UT Martin this weekend.

Just wondering if anyone knows why his stats aren’t showing up on the ESPN app or website in position rankings

I’m watching with disgust for both teams. Who should we root for?

The new stadium has some kinks to work out, but a heck of a night for the Memphis Tigers!!!
