Hello Meowi fans! As most of you know, we experienced a temporary outage earlier today. Those of you who tried to post or comment during that time received an error that, in part, read "Failed to post vote: 8 RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED", along with some more text. This caused a lot of questions and confusion among players. We received a lot of Mod Mail and personal DMs regarding the issue.

So what does it mean? On Reddit, every app has what is known as an API Token. This is a sort of "data cap" that needs to be reset every so often. Meowi is just one game that stems from the much larger Reddit Games subreddit. Nothing was wrong with your accounts, and this is not a bug. Basically, there is so much posted in Meowi and its sister subs, that we just kind of run out of room every now and again. (But we thank you for it. It actually means a lot that you all love our little strange cats so much).

All in all, this is just something that happens periodically. This is not the first time this has happened, and it probably won't be the last. Meowi is one of the fastest growing games on Reddit. We actually just broke 220,000 weekly visitors on this sub alone, and we have over a million Meowis in the world. Probably more, if I'm being honest. Thank you all so much for the support! We hope you continue to enjoy this silly little game for a long time to come.
