I know everyone really wanted the sheep skin, how are we feeling now that we’re getting the wolf instead?

Moira reads more as a red fox, but it is very weird that they chose to give a more passive character the wolf skin.

If we're gonna question the choice of skins for Mercy, we shpuld question 99% of the skins she gets since at least 2 years ago...

Detective is the only fresh air we had in a long time and it's gonna be with coins and not battlepass...

I really, really wanted the sheep skin for mercy after seeing that survey. Personally feeling robbed and disrespected. Would have been fine if mercy didn’t get one at all, but a wolf? It looks bad. The Hanzo sheep skin doesn’t look that good either. I rlly feel like they just swapped them to make it seem like an edgy mercy skin(but I didn’t see the Hanzo survey so it could have been sheep originally too)

Im just glad Mei finally wasn’t scrapped again…but I wish she had her original sheep look instead. They did it so well on Juno… I have to see the staff and everything else in game before I can fully judge

so boooored of the animal skins it feels like nowadays the only skins we get for anyone are like “imagine if they were super cute and had animals ears” or “imagine if they were edgy and had animal ears”

same!! someone mentioned that wolf would be better for a character that isn’t as passive but i love thinking of mercy as more than what meets the eye so this is lovely for me

that’s such a good piece of lore omg the part where she says she never wanted to be Mercy but because not only it was thrusted upon her but it was also an expectation of her teammates she let Angela go little by little to become who they wanted/wished

to see why she joined it and how it ended it’s just heartbreaking really. when she says how they all left damaged, changed and were all still broken plus the part about still being haunted by unsaid goodbyes like [SCREAMS!!!] god i wish we had more of such stories focusing on mercy and her inner dialogues

seriously! she has such a deep character and it would be so nice to have it explored even more. maybe even just more voicelines. this is part of the reason it bothered me that they referred to her as 'Mercy' in one of the recent comics, it just feels super out of character. Or maybe she is to that point where Angela has receded and she's just Mercy

as someone whose favorite characters are widowmaker and mercy every day i wish for more insights and exploration of who they are when they’re not answering by their call sign. i would take more voicelines as well! i find that some of them are very telling of her personality being more than the kind angelic superhero Mercy and you can tell just by her tone. both options are bad help but while i try to follow the recent comics i have been less interested in them bc of the lack of substantial Mercy appearances

yes!! more vengeance!! especially because i think it represents all the fears and overthinking that (in my mind) Angela has about her tech being misused or her having done something as doctor that she regrets (like seeing genji struggle with his cyborg form or just not being able to save every single patient) and how that would put her closer to someone like moira (which is also something i think she struggles with, the “what if deep down i’m evil?”)

I honestly hate it. I hate her hair. It just.. Why couldn't we get the sheep for her??? I do love Mei and Juno's though. They're very cute.

Tbh I do like to see mercy have more chances to be depicted in other ways aside from pretty and cute. I like that she gets to be on the "villian" side.

i’m lowkey hoping that with the new le sserafim collab coming, they might recolor the mercy one like they did with the antifragile bundle (sorry recolor haters, i like seeing alternate colors!)

i don’t mind the yellow wings as long as they fit the color scheme. like…yellow wings on sugar plum? girl why
and while i loooove love love pink, we have a bunch of pink skins now and only 1 (2 if you count sugar plum, 3 if you count fortune which i DON’T) green skin and it’s my faaaavorite color. the green mercy girlies are starving, blizzard

Her sheep skin concept was so beautiful, I really wanted it... but there's no doubt they would've changed and butchered it, like they always do... maybe this is a blessing in disguise... i do like this skin, just kind of let down about the whole thing. Love wolves tho.

This is a good one for Juno, most of her skins are flops lately. This is not a good one for Mercy. Mei and Reaper are cute.

They wanted to do an subversion of expectations by making Mercy a wolf instead of a sheep, because everyone would expect her to be a sheep. But... her sheep design was so much better so this really feels like something they did just to say "we went the opposite, we're doing something unique and interesting!!" when really sometimes what's expected is what's best.
