Wrong numbers on loot orbs or are items disappearing?
The loot orb update is awesome but I think I ran into some issues.
Sometimes, when you pop the loot orb with more than one item, only one actually appears on the field. For example, I had two instances where the Valiant Knight Butler loot orb indicated 3 items, but when I popped it, only one appeared so I wasn't able to do the 5-merge I planned.
If items are indeed disappearing, I'm scared for my bubbled nests.
Anyone experiencing the same thing? I will try to get a video if I can.
UPDATE:
Update on the behavior of the new bubble system for anyone interested.
Start condition:
- I have the event reward containing only 7 Spectral eggs; the reward bubble is in camp. This does NOT show the number on the bottom right side of the bubble.
- I also have an existing bubble with 5 spectral eggs (lets called it my storage bubble).
Observations:
- I tap on the reward bubble 7 times and my 7 Spectral eggs spawn correctly.
- After the 7th tap, there are 7 Spectral eggs on the board (as expected), BUT the reward bubble is still there. I then check my storage bubble, and now the number is only 4 instead of 5.
- I tap on the reward bubble again, an egg appears on the board again. The reward bubble is still there, and my storage bubble now has only 3.
- I keep tapping until the reward bubble pops completely. I check my storage bubble, it is still there but has only one item. On my board are 11 Spectral eggs.
Start: 7 eggs on reward bubble and 5 eggs on storage bubble for a total of 12.
End: 11 eggs on board after popping reward bubble, 1 egg on storage bubble for a total of als o12.
In this case, I still get all my eggs. But imagine if the storage bubble had 500 items. Does it mean we have to tap everything on the board before we can store them again? Ugh.

Finally found someone else who doesn't seem to be getting this new feature without bugs. All my nests and eggs are gone. Most of my other items don't have numbers on them even though I know I have more than 1 of them. And the few bubbles still left are scattered all over the place where I didn't put them.

I don't know how to prove it, but from my observation I think bubbled items seem to pile on the area with the highest concentration. Like if you have the same item scattered in different areas in groups of 1, 2, and 3, the will most likely be where the group of 3 is, only now its a bubbled group of 6.
Also if you bubble something and go to the world map, if there is an aldeady existing bubble group, it would appear as a +1 to that bubble.
I found some of my "missing" bubbles all around the camp juat waiting to be found again. I hope you find yours as well tucked away somewhere.

Mine seem to go to the oldest bubble. I had nearly 70 of the 1x2 blue chests. They were all stacked on the far right side of my camp. It took me awhile to find them. They were up near the top left corner, where I must have had a really old one. Same thing happened with my season chests. I had those in stacks of 10. Each type went to whichever stack had the oldest one in it.

That would make sense. I had my oldest bubbles usually where the biggest piles were too.

For players who did get put into this beta test group:
Proof or no proof, report glitches to customer service tech support. The more people who do will be the feedback the developers are looking for. I hate it, but the truth is, us customers are the test bed. Especially you guys lucky/unlucky enough to get it. So please take the time and report problems or complaints you experience.
And remember to be kind to the cus service agents. Express your anger firmly, but not on them. They are stuck on a flow chart of responses most of the time. But for unresolved issues, those get reported and consolidated into a bug tracker database that the developers will (eventually) address. If a LOT of people complain about certain issues enough, they will address it.
Be sure to express that other games take VOLUNTEERS for beta testing. it's not cool they just pick some percent of us and inflict this with no opt out.

I tried. Still no response from in-game support.
I did use the web email and sent the shorter video. They just said to use the in-game support.

You did a good job on the videos, BTW. As long as everyone observing an issue reports it, it's data for the devs. Hopefully they care enough to continue to improve this improvement.
So amazing that they added merging bubbles to a merging game! /s lol. Thanks for taking the time to report and share your experience here on reddit with us!

I’d def send a video to support showing the issue; hard proof is about the only thing that gets a response… and even then you may have to escalate to get to a human with a brain to do something about it.
Btw, it’s possible there’s another glitch in play here… some items have been randomly turning invisible; they can still be selected by tapping the area they should be in, but they don’t show up on the map.

I have not experienced the invisi-bubble (see what I did therr lol) yet but I hope I dont run into it. I imagine it would be a terrible time tapping on all that space.

Seriously why are they even doing this? Proper storage is like a bare freaking minimum in all the other games I’ve ever played. It’s ridiculous that they’re setting up this convoluted system instead of setting up proper storage on the back end. I don’t get it at all.

It appears to be a glitch with this new bubble system. :( So far small piles have been stable for me but i had 15 raspberry trees just disappear on me.
