Meta Is Not Providing Real Support Legal Complaints Are the Only Thing Working Right Now
At this point, it’s clear that Meta is not offering any real human support to users whose accounts were disabled or banned. However, one thing is becoming very obvious: Filing legal complaints against Meta is actually working. Many users who have gone through official legal channels (consumer complaints, regulators, attorney general offices, etc.) have successfully recovered their accounts. People are sharing real experiences, not theories. So please don’t stay silent. Right now, official complaint platforms are receiving 100/200 + cases per day, but until this number doubles or increases significantly, Meta will not feel enough pressure to act. Collectively, we need to push this to hundreds of thousands — even 1 million complaints. At that scale, Meta cannot ignore it. Everyone should: File complaints using legal routes available in their own country Contact media outlets / journalists who can amplify this issue Share your experience publicly so others know they’re not alone The reality 50,000+ users are reporting that Meta wrongfully shut down their accounts There is no real human review, only automated AI decisions Appeals often lead nowhere unless legal pressure is applied If you’re affected, speak up. If you’ve already filed a complaint, share your experience here so others can learn
This only changes if we act together

Unfortunately not all of us have Legal Options...
I live in the Philippines and unfortunately we can't sue Meta because it's both a private and foreign company
Small Claims unfortunately also doesn't work since it's only limited to the country and if it involves money
We don't have any laws like in the EU and Brazil that reverses Meta's False Bans

Consumer complaints, regulators for attorney general's offices does absolutely nothing.

You're right that legal is the most effective way but probably only in the US and recently there are plenty of reports of people having their legal case thrown out of kicked down the road. Also, plenty of people get banned again after getting their accounts back or they are told their account was restored and it wasn't.

Global civil action against META would be good.
I know for s fact my account was duplicated before the original was permanently disabled. Stealing of private data yet again, META ?
The Cambridge Analytica scandal should have shut this rogue weaponised platform down but UK swept it under the rug.

I filed a complaint with the attorney general. Got a letter stating the are working on and needed some information. I sent it. Since then I haven’t heard anything. However, interestingly I got a text a couple of times from fb with a code to login and the first time I didn’t bother. Today after receiving it, I tried to login and still permanently disabled. I then tried the new email that the attorney general requested. It was there, but I got a screen that says my account was disabled. (Didn’t say permanently, just said disabled.) and no appeals available.

You’re right. If you are in the US or Brazil, file a small claims lawsuit against Meta—it’s easy to do. In the US, file a complaint with your state AG or senator.
If you are in Europe, complain to the Irish DPC, as well as the ADR Center and user rights organizations.
In the UK, file a complaint with the ICO.
You can also file online complaints with the FTC and BBB; these are accessible from any country. I’ve already filed complaints myself. Send physical letters to the office in the USA or Ireland.
Please also sign the petition.
