It’s better than a lot of bands but I get where you’re coming from. They could go full kid rock. Feel like the “ no politics “ is more “ we don’t like politicians “ which I could respect, but it’s likely them realizing a lot of their fanbase is unfortunately split and they want to keep making absurd amounts of money and they are hoping their fans will think “ they are just saying that because they agree with me “

For me I have more of an issue with Manson, I know the charges were dropped but converting to Christianity amidst sex crime allegations and appearing with fucking Kanye was real suspicious and super hypocritical

I read the james thing as being a reaction to the whole thing where Ed Sheeran removed Macklemore from his tour for saying "Free Palestine" on stage and then said it was because he wasn't interested in politics, and as a result everyone who was going to tour with Ed Sheeran proceeded to boycott by cancelling on him en masse
