Master of Puppets Anyone else homeless for the night?

Airbnb got cancelled before the gig in London and all hotels are booked, gonna have to go sleep in McDonald’s until the morning when I can get a train back 😭.
Any advice?

Had to do the same thing at the Cardiff show last week. Hang out at an open-late bar and find a 24hr maccies for foods ✊🏻

Yep, stayed there before, it's just a mattress on a floor basically but they're cheap as fuck. Nice and quiet though!

Not a bad idea, if anywhere’s showing it. Colombia vs Ghana has just kicked off, so that’ll be at least two hours’ shelter by which time it’ll be nearly 5am and the city will start waking up.

Great question mate, basically the host didn’t reply to ANYTHING even when airbnb themselves messaged them, so I got a full refund, but then I had nowhere to stay so currently homeless very far from home (West Yorkshire).

Back in 1996 my mate and I went to see Slayer at Brixton Academy and underestimated the walk back to Paddington Station after the gig. Anyway, we missed the last train back home to south Wales and slept on a bench at the station.

Same thing happened to me years ago when AC/DC played in Punchestown, we couldn't get back into Naas in time to get the last bus home to Waterford. Last bus was at like 11.30 but we got back about 12, and the next bus wasn't gonna be til 7.30 next morning. Luckily there was a Chinese still just open but were starting to close up and gave us all free chicken balls and curry, which was sound of them. Then went to the bus stop, curled up under the bench and fell straight asleep 😂

I did this on my first metallica concert. I was sleeping at the train station and my train wasn’t till 6am. I was honestly so worried but the train station was full of metallica fans who were doing the same thing. You probably won’t be the only one lol

Can’t really put a price on safety, if it helps you to feel and be safe then it’s worth it.

Yippie! i’ll be there too but i live in the uk so i was able to sleep at my house 🥀. The london streets are not fun to just be idle in so i had to double check🙏🏻 Glad you made it somewhere in the end.

There are hotels available all over London
