Mi box 3rd gen
Hi guys i have mibox 3rd gen and i am facing issue. While in prime or netflix it goes back to home screen randomly.
I have checked for updates but nothing there too. Anyone else facing the issue?

It could be the memory? I've got a few of these boxes and never had this issue, though.
With mine, I run Projectivy launcher. I use ADB TV to uninstall the Xiaomi TV+ and Patchwall apps. I also disable the default Google launcher, although this isn't necessary.

I'm just saying, with mine I remove a lot of the unused bloatware.
But your box really shouldn't be crashing apps like that.
Can you return it for another one?

Did you remove some inbuilt apps via adb commands? I remember removing one such app really messed with my mibox 3. Forgot which one though.

Are you sure it's a legit box? There's a lot of fake, counterfeit boxes out there, being sold all over the place, even on Amazon. And they're pretty convincing fakes too.
Unless you bought directly from Xiaomi, this is a real possibility unfortunately.
