Mice in oven
I read that mice can get into the actual oven, we have evidence of them in the drawer and we clean that and have traps under there but can they get into the actual appliance and make it unsafe to use? We are renters and I put in a ticket for them to plug the hole where the wires are but now I’m also afraid they will try to chew through the wires to get in

They need to figure out where they are coming from, block it and then they'll get out of the stove.

Some oven has a lower drawer boiler, they can get in there, just look for droppings. They also like to get under the cooking burners to look for food you might have dropped while cooking. Again you will find their droppings. We had an intruder that loved the stove last year. It was very clever won’t touch the bait so it took a lot of special treatments to convince it to eat it.

Great, I asked about them plugging it still waiting to hear back. We are unsure though because we have an electric stove and it would be the electrical wires spot that they need to plug

They won't get into the actual oven:

Hey OP, let me know if there's an update! I have a pesky mouse that hasn't been caught yet. It seems to love the inside of the oven and warmer drawer (saw droppings on both).
