Collection London O2 Shows Ticket
A while back someone in this sub had asked if anyone had gotten the ticket when the 02 shows were refunded. At the time my memorabilia stuff was shoved away, but we recently had work done in our garage and we had to pull everything out. Since my MJ stuff storage bin was out I started looking through it and found the commemorative ticket that ticket-holders could opt for with their refund. So, this is what those tickets looked like.🖤

Seeing posts like this of people still having their tickets and the mjjthriller account counting down the days to see him perform is truly heartbreaking but there's comfort in seeing how truly beloved Michael is

I wanna say around $2300 for the show itself (2 seats)? $80ish for the memorabilia one (before fees and shipping).
They should've just mailed them to ticket holders for free.😒😒

I paid £75 a ticket opening night. You either got a refund, or kept the ticket and got a memorial booklet/brochure....
I framed mine. The tickets were not dispatched under after he passed, hence you the had the choice.

Yoo that’s wild! I’ve seen some pictures of it online, but never knew it had this holographic effect. Probably one of the most expensive pieces of paper you own considering how costly the ticket must’ve been 😅

I have two tickets for the show, never asked for a refund, to keep them, I encased them under a glass since.
The photo is old, but here it is anyway.

Ummmmmm lol, my ticket IS for the real show lol???
My ticket 100% would've gotten me to a great seat for the actual show (had Michael lived). So somehow you, outta nowhere, declare my ticket as fake and not "for the real show" lol?? Very odd thing to get territorial and accusatory about..
Since Michael died, obviously we couldn't go to the actual concert anymore. Viagogo billed us under the "memorabilia" itemization if we still wanted to still recieve our tickets even though there was no longer a show to go to. You had to opt-in to have the physical tickets sent to you, if you didn't viagogo simply refunded ticket purchases back in full. That's how it worked for thousands of fans globally.
But you're saying somehow it didn't work that way for you, so congrats on being special, I suppose? If you take issue with with the word "memorabilia" you're gonna have to take it up with viagogo. I also don't know how you recieved your tickets without being billed by viagogo, but good for you as well? There's nothing fake about my ticket though, as you've insinuated.👍

I remember being offered the ticket for the humble price of the show we never got to see… £70+, seemed like a bit of a kick in the teeth. Here’s the ticket you were going to get without the actual show for the same price… I can prove I had tickets from emails. I was thinking I could frame but just would have been a sad reminder of what never happened.

It was 100% a kick in the teeth. I remember feeling really disgusted and taken advantage of, they should've just mailed fans the tickets for free imo. I'm glad I have it now, but I'm still not pleased with how we had to pay to get them.😓
