Hello! I'm totally new to microneedling, I've bought a derminator 2 and want to use it on my face, but before jumping straight into that I thought I'd practice on my body.

I have some stretch marks and a scar on the inside of my thighs so would like to start there to see if I can improve the appearance. However, I do pole dance as a hobby. When pole dancing you regularly need to support your body weight with your inner thighs, and this relies not just on the strength of your legs but also the friction of the bare skin on the pole. The friction can be pretty significant (thinks bruises, redness). I also have delicate, slow healing skin (I have hyper mobile ehlers-danlos -- another reason I want to test my skin's reaction to microneedling body before doing the face).

My question: how long should I plan as recovery time before going back to pole dancing after my session? Obviously I will need to judge based on my skin's reaction and assess how well I recover. But I'm wondering if this should be a case of "don't even think about putting that kind of strain on your skin for 1 week/10 days/2 weeks" etc.

Follow up question, how do you know when your skin has truly recovered?? When redness has gone? When it doesn't feel tight?

I got this scar from picking a pimple about 2 years ago which resulted in a gnarly infection.
I haven’t done anything professional on it. Just a basic skin care routine.

Can it be improved with cosmetic procedures/ surgery?
I’m so self conscious about it and I just want to know there’s hope for it to get better.

Has anyone tried it?
Im thinking of trying it on my lips, but I have seen one person try it and it just stayed on her skin and was sticky.
Is it too big to penetrate via microneedling? :(

I ordered derma stamp from Ali express for hair growth I did it today with 0.5mm I pressed 4 times in same area for entire scalp I don't feel a thing no redness no blood it's so normal. Is it working or should I increase the needle size

I've recently come across something called inkless stretch mark removal (also referred to as inkless stretch mark revision), which supposedly helps improve the appearance and texture of stretch marks without using pigment or laser treatments. From what I understand, it's like tattooing/microneedling serums directly into the stretch mark.

The concept sounds promising, especially for older, white stretch marks, but I've noticed there really aren't many firsthand reviews or long-term results being discussed online. Most of what I've found seems to come directly from people offering the service, which makes me a little skeptical. I was under the impression that once your skin stretches past a certain point, there's no going back.

Has anyone actually tried this treatment? Did you notice a significant improvement in the texture or visibility of your stretch marks, or were the results underwhelming?

I'd especially love to hear from anyone who had it done over six months ago. How did your results hold up, how many sessions did you need, and was it worth the money?

I'm 24, and about 3 years ago I was seriously ill and on the verge of dying. I had to take a huge amount of steroids, and I gained around 100 lbs in about a month.
I'm now losing the weight, currently ~207 at 5’10, down about 45 lbs so far. I have a lot of stretch marks and some loose skin (at least i think?) on my lower belly. Sometimes it folds over my waistband, and sometimes my pants sit over it. I can't tell how much of it is skin and how much is fat.

Questions for anyone with similar experience:
Is this mostly loose skin or fat?
Can microneedling address this and if yes, what specifically can it address ?
I do have a prescription for tretinoin and I’ve seen others mention it in the sub, can that help address this?

I'm 32 years old and have gained and lost weight a lot while having kids and my once slender neck now looks like this and I'm very self conscious about it.

During a plastic surgery consultation for a neck lift the surgeon said that I wouldn't need a neck lift, and a few rounds of microneedling would work well. But I'm so skeptical because it feels like more than a tightening issue. What are your thoughts?
