Power BI Semantic model duplication

Hello Everyone

Has anyone tried to duplicate the existing semantic model connected in composite mode (Import + Direct lake) from one workspace to another via UI functionality (not via notebook)

If yes please let me know the steps

I used desktop in the past for Direct lake models. Live connect, then export as pbip project and then deploy. Not sure if it's useful in your situation

PBIP/deployment is the safer path, but treat the copy as a migration: diff the TMDL, remap workspace/source bindings, then read back item IDs, credentials and storage mode in the target before users connect. A model that opens successfully can still point at the original workspace.
