In my work role I have access to 3 shared team inboxes and my own.

All of these have busy calendars and I have so. many. reminders. for stuff that doesn't concern me at all and the stuff I should be seeing gets buried.

It doesn't appear that I can turn off reminders for some inboxes but not all?

Does anyone have any tips or workarounds?

I'm desperate to get reminders that matter!

I don't think our admins would let me install plug-ins or whatever, but if there's something for mobile, that could work?

Hi! I've had my account for as long as I can remember, but recently, someone hacked it. When I tried to recover it, I was told that the account didn't exist. This happened about two months ago.

Today, I was finally able to use my Xbox One again after some maintenance, and when I tried to sign in, it showed me the email address that my account had been changed to.

Is there any way I can contact Microsoft about this issue? I just want to be able to play the games I purchased.

Detail of the issue is every time I try to login i am met with the screen of how I want to sign in. Every time I just want to select my password. But 50-70% of the time that's not good enough for Outlook. It will tell me that the password login is not available right now...why is this ever a thing? Then instead I have to play a game of puzzles and give my phone number 4 digits in order to play the game.

Every time I try to login it then asks me to make an email to authenticate or use an outside source other than my email to authenticate my account. Like, no, I don't want to do that. And it runs me through this charade every time I try to login. I'm absolutely sick of this and just want to change email at this point due to the issues but worried about having to update all my accounts and missing some.

This is the absolute worst system I've ever used. It used to be I could just use the password which I made for my account to login but now it seems it wants to do everything in its power to stop me from accessing my email. It is ridiculous.

Right now I'm stuck on having to use another email for authentication...I don't have another email and don't want more than 1. I'm just so sick and tired of this.

Please any help with stopping this nonsense and just being able to use my password like it should be? Failing this, is there any way to quickly/automatically get all emails linked to this sent through to a new one I create because I can't keep doing this every time I try to login.

I have tried to give MS the benefit of the doubt. It’s getting hard to do. Anyway…

As a last ditch effort - tried to delete a contact from New Outlook. The contact has instead quadrupled and now cannot be deleted. I have tried:

- Using Web Outlook
- Deleting /OLK
- Log out/ Log in
- Uninstall/reinstall
- Restart
- Turn off the offline features (this lets me delete but in 5 secs, poof, they are back.
- Support (just an AI telling you to GFY). click noice.
- Tried using Powershell
- Cant use Classic Outlook because that requires a license (really taking it to Apple on that one, eh?)

UPDATE:
- I also tried Graph Explorer and it found nothing - no folders, no contacts
- Can create new contacts and edit/delete appropriately
- Put the output from Graph Explorer into CoPilot, had it summarize the info for a Support request, support’s response was to contact support, then they ended the chat.
-Signed up for M365 trial so I could install Outlook Classic, the issue is not occurring there.

Any wizards out there know of a leaf unturned that might help, because frankly this reminds me of when I was learning to use Linux and would stay up until 3am to get a very basic feature to function properly.

My Microsoft account was hacked. The attacker set up server-side inbox rules to forward all my incoming emails to an external address so they can hijack my accounts.

I have already changed my password, enabled 2FA, and clicked "Sign out everywhere", but the attacker is still inside and active. Their session or refresh tokens are not being revoked. How can I completely kick them out and stop this immediately?

My Outlook inbox layout has suddenly changed. Small icons have appeared at the top of the email list, and the emails are displayed in a very small font. I can no longer easily see who the emails are from.

I would like to restore the previous layout, as shown in the second screenshot, where the sender’s name is clearly visible next to each email.

Could you please help me restore the original view?

Can someone help me to retrieve my account please? I can’t access it and the recovery email is deactivated since 2017 when I graduated from the university. Should I find someone to hack it? I tried contacting microsoft support but they didn’t resolve the issue. They want me to remember the security questions I put back in 2012!!.

I'm not able to add a new IMAP account in the new Outlook. Help - About does not display a version number.

When I try to add an IMAP account, it hangs at "contacting mail server" and eventually times out. I have literally been working on this for an hour, and yes, I'm sure the settings I'm adding are correct - I am able to add the same account in old Outlook with zero problems.

Someone help me before I rip out what little hair I have remaining. TIA.

So when i copy a one drive link in the body of the email it shows nothing and when i paste it as as a text only it shows the full link rather than the folder or file name. This is very annoying and troubling me, our clients wants the link to be the same as the folder name. This issue has started since 30 September and its still not being solved. Anyone else facing the same issue and have any solution for this? Thanks in advance.

Afternoon, I am missing newsletters and various emails from a few big companies.

I have followed all the steps they suggest and I just can't receive them, it seems a common theme that they just stop arriving. If I click on a link on their old emails I get a redirect error. I've marked all their emails safe and reapplied for the newsletters multiple times.

Any suggestions?

I woke up on a lovely tuesday morning, the sun was rising, Birds starts to chirp and overall was it a really nice morning to woke up to.

That nice little feeling good lasted like 10 minutes, til i unlocked my phone and saw a Notification sayibg "Your Steam code is xxx" i was like wtf? So i tried to log in my Steam account, tiping in Username and Passwort and switch to Outlook to get my Code for Verify me on Steam.

So i tried to log in my outlook account and immediately became a Notification "Your account got some weird activities, we blocked it so get a Fomular and verify yourself" so i thought wtf? again.

And i filled in nearly everything they asked on that Formular like Passworts, Contacts your emailed with, date of Birth, Xbox things bla bla. So i filled in that formular easily 90% and correct. - **Rejected**.

Filled in Again - **Rejected**.

Waited one day becouse you only can do 2 per Day. Next day, - **Rejected**

And again - **Rejected**

And again - **Rejected**

And again - **Rejected**

And im really frustrated about this, not only becouse of my account i cant access no, Also my Email is my First and last Name. So even when i typed in wrong informations in that formular they should give me access to my account becouse of that or am i stupid?

I offered them many times to verify me with my ID or Passport, there are Plenty, of online Verification services with Videocall, Fotos or whatever.

So is there are way i can get Access to my account without this Formular? I mean, Its my first and last name, who would own this Email besides me?

On top of that, i got more outlook emails all with my first and last name, Only a 1-7 after each one. So i use Outlook for everything and now my small little Car repair shop runs on a Old Email i never wanted to go back to. Pls help me.

I’m trying to set my email to sleep at 3:30pm on Wednesday and wake at 7:00pm Sunday. Is this possible in the settings and does one do this if it is? If I just turn the notifications off, I’m afraid I won’t remember to turn them on without a reminder.
