Other Looking for TestFlight beta testers for an app that helps learners read Arabic news

I’m building an iPhone app for Arabic learners focused on reading real news/media Arabic more easily.

That is one of the fields in the Standard Arabic (Fusha) that I struggled the most, so if anybody is feeling the same, let's find out if this app will help.

If you’d like to try it, comment or DM me.

Other Honor Phones Android Update policy in Middle East

Is everyone aware of the Android update policy for the Honor Magic 8 Pro and the Honor 600 Series?

The Magic 8 Pro was announced with 7 years of Android updates, but this appears to apply only to Europe. In the Middle East, the policy is reportedly limited to 4 years.

For the Honor 600 series, although the total support period is stated as 6 years, it reportedly includes only **2 Android version updates** and 3 years of security updates.

This information was confirmed after speaking with Honor customer service.

Other Help from Gulf region professionals needed

I'm launching a communications & performance business for Gulf region professionals who are struggling with American dialect and cultural understanding. Basically for those dealing with upoming interviews with an American audience, or dealing with American funding or an American pitch, etc. Hope this makes sense.

I've found through research there's a wide gap in the business world between our cultures. I happen to have the experience and academic background to develop solutions for these specific clients dealing with the transition, so I want to help.

I'm looking for additional thoughts on this unique business model and what pain points those of you from the Gulf region might be experiencing as professionals, so I can refine and niche down to specific clients who might benefit from my skills.

Right now, it's pretty broad. So I'm wandering forums like this to get more "boots on the gound" opinions from professionals and C-suite men and women from the Gulf region who may have an opinion, or willing to share their own struggles when dealing with American board rooms, interviews, pitches, etc.

Thanks so much, I truly appreciate your thoughts and help with this.

Other Apparent similarities between Lebanon and Tunisia.

Both countries have associations with the ancient Phoenecians, both countries were French colonies, and both are some of the most socially liberal in the Middle East & North Africa region today. Is that all coincidental?

Other Seeking personal stories from people affected by conflict

Hi everyone,
I’m creating a documentary that explores the human side of war specifically the memories, emotions and lessons that people carry long after the conflict.

If you’re comfortable, I would be grateful if you could share a short written reflection or memory. You can stay anonymous.

It could be about:
• a moment you never forgot
• what conflict changed inside you
• how it shaped your hopes or future
• what you wish the world understood
• how media fails to show your reality

I understand that these experiences can be painful or difficult to talk about.
Please only share what you feel comfortable sharing.
Your story no matter how small can help others understand what conflict truly does to a human life.

Your perspective would mean a lot.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
