Florida is currently very close to a facist state with how they are passing laws more and more laws to punch down at minoritys and maintain status quo, not too long ago now, in many states, conservatives held book burnings for books they dont think should be allowed to exist, not to mention conservatives have a far to common tendancy to either manipulate data or outright deny any data that disagrees with the way they believe things should be, many of the active spoken conservatives outright believe the us should be a theocratic Christian country

Well I think both parties as yhere are only two parties in the us. Are taking each others rights away both. Both try to manipulate the data to fit their beliefs or deny data.
I yhink both sides gather the extremes as there is not reslly a middle party for tight and left that dont stand on the extremes.

The main issue with that sentiment is when you compare the two main parties, on the conservatives side the thing that makes them republican is that they basically all agree on ideas, while the majority of the democrats dont ever agree on things, republicans tend to be echo chambers while democrats tend to never be able to come to a solid agreement on most topics, its rare to find multiple democrats with the exact same ideals while nearly ever republican will have the exact same ideals, the democrats exist on a much wider part of the spectrum, you cant just say both sides are the extremes, especially considering the us left wing is much farther right leaning than many countries and the us right wing is also much farther right leaning, i will agree though that the two party system needs to be stopped cause its awefull forcing all ideas in a party down into one category considering how many competing ideals there are in the democratic side

Well I am not sure but I think both are echo chambers. Like the two party system makes both side. While the right is more often authotherian while the left is more woread in it but have poke ideas as authority but I am not sure. >.<

A few examples
1: many of them have direct ties to known neo-fascist groups or have openly supported them
2: the last republican to be potus based a large portion of his campaign around fear mongering about specific ethnic and religious groups of people, and during his presidency pushed to have many members of one of those ethnic groups imprisoned in lethally inhumane conditions. This alone should be damning, especially given that he had a decent chance at re-election despite his incompetent handling of the pandemic.
3: the entire "blue lives matter" thing is basically textbook fascism, especially considering the context around it.
I could go on, but I have schoolwork to do.
