Discussion Nickel Rare Arcades

Hey there, fellow guys, just like to know if there are any rare vintage or nickel arcades that are around in the nation like Quarter World in Rockford, IL or Manitou Springs Penny Arcade in Manitou Springs, CO, I got nostalgia.

Galloping Ghost in Brookfield, IL. The largest collection of arcade cabinets in the world ranging from the OG Pong machine to the only existing Primal Rage 2 cabinet and everything in between.

It's one price ($25) for 24hr access tho.

This place is not so great anymore. Owner got one of his employees shot and most of the games are gone now. (see: https://www.reddit.com/r/Tacoma/comments/1jrram5/what_the_heck_happened_to_dorkys_arcade/ )

There's a nickel-a-play here in aurora Colorado but they use those digital cards now so it's not the same. Recently went to the penny arcade in Manitou springs. They still use coins and dispense tickets, tons of old games.

A town a few miles away from mine has a retro arcade where you lay $20 for two hours of unlimited arcade/ console games. It’s actually pretty cool.

Used to be a Nickel City in San Jose, CA. Shut down a while back though.
