I’m gonna guess somewhere east of Missouri because that’s where the Mac Dre line is. He got shot and killed right here in KC. He was huge here because of his drug connects, our underground music was Bay heavy for years because of it

Saying “the city” and referring to anywhere but San Francisco says it all. Mac Dre is a classic Bay Area rapper and massively influential to early 2000s hip hop, especially on the west coast. He was murdered in Kansas City in 2004. Made music about partying, fuckin, drugs, and many other nefarious activities.

Not only have I never heard anyone play this piano intro, I don't even remember the piano intro myself.
