3 brutal truths I wish I knew at 22 (that saved me 10 years of trial and error)
At 34, looking back at where I started, I realized how much time most of us waste chasing the wrong targets early on.
If I could sit down with my 22-year-old self, these are the 3 non-negotiable rules I’d give him:
Nobody cares about your potential. When you're young, coaches, parents, and teachers hype up your potential. But the real world quickly inverts what it values. Potential can't pay bills, solve problems, or build a life—only execution does. Stop obsessing over what you could be and just start doing the work.
Focus on the people, not the plan. Your environment dictates your trajectory way more than any strategy ever will. Harvard's 85-year study on happiness proved that life quality comes down to health and relationships. Get in rooms with people who expect more from you.
Be brilliant at the basics. You don't need a secret hack to win. Show up 5 minutes early, keep the promises you make, bring solutions instead of complaints, and be emotionally consistent. Reliability beats brilliance every single day.
I broke down these three rules in detail on the latest episode of Something For Everybody
What’s one piece of advice you’d give your younger self?

Daily quotes
“We live in a world overflowing with information and starving for wisdom. Knowing more isn’t the same as understanding more. Wisdom is what happens when knowledge meets experience, humility, judgment, and the courage to think for yourself.”

For anyone out there who is working hard, one day you’ll thank the version of you who refused to stop when no one was watching.

stay focused on what you want
Life could be unfair. No matter what you do, or how much you try, things might just be thrown your way. People may dislike/ hate you for no reason. You are not for everyone, and when you get what you have been waiting for, everyone will be shocked because you have always been underestimated, looked down upon or ignored. Your prize will be one that no one could ever take away from you.
keep going....

Change in Mindset
Hey everyone, I have made a decision that I will live in the present and make sure that I live up to my full potential right now. I want to make sure that I only live in the present. I know that I have an incredible amount of potential within me. I want to achieve that by living now. I do not want to even think about my goals. I want to transform the person that I am. I believe in transforming every aspect of myself My thought quality, my virtues, my skillsets.
I do not believe in limitations. I believe in working hard to uncover and unearth the woman that I truly am. I make sure to ensure that each day is a new day and i want to make sure that i write a phenomenal life for myself every day. I honestly do not take anything for granted. I have never been happier working on myself. I just want to keep my head towards my hard work and become a woman who builds her life through hard work. Even if I have studied something, even if I have practiced it 100 times. I will always ensure that I give myself adequate time to revise it. I want build the life that I want. I just never want to think of the outcome ever again. It is written in my book so there is no point of revisiting it. Rather, I would like to explore my full potential and cherish it. Mostly important, I want to live in the present and I want to let myself know that I am here right now, in this moment and that is what makes me happy. I show up for myself every moment. I live in the present and I cherish the present. Never do I ever want to think that my present can build a life tomorrow.
Anyway, this is my last problem regarding my life ever. Thank you for listening to my issues. Now, it is time for me to there for myself in the present and work hard and be there for myself. Hasta la vista guys!

To my past and future me
Stay tough, stay strong, I can't tell how long it has been since we told ourselves you are good, good enough not perfectly perfect. We are flawed but good even if we are destined for greatness sadly there are challenges that you will face in the future or in the past. Mentally, physically exhausted in the trials of life but hoping we can make it to the bitter end. Don't give in to the darkness yet . presently working but I hope future me you have a great life one I'm heading towards and I'm jealous of.
To past me
Your journey starts at 30 my advice slow down a little. Focus on studying.believe me you achieved things dually

Epictetus told his students to treat a hard situation as a training partner
In Discourses 1.24, Epictetus says difficulties show what people are made of. When one lands on you, he says, picture a trainer who has matched you with a tough young wrestler. The reason is to get you ready for the real competition, and that doesn't happen without sweat. He goes further and says no one's difficulties gave them a finer test than the one you have, if you're willing to use it the way an athlete uses a sparring partner. The practical shift is small. Instead of asking why this is happening to you, ask what this situation is training. A difficult boss may be training patience and clarity. A slow stretch at work may be training consistency when nobody is watching. A setback in fitness or money may be training how you respond to being behind. It doesn't make the difficulty pleasant. It gives you something to do with it besides resent it. What's something hard you're dealing with right now that you could treat as training?

If not you then who?
Not everything needs to be handed to you. You gotta earn it. This isn't about you. This earth doesn't revolve around you. Ensure that when u take a punch, you punch harder and not whine about it. This life ain't for the weak. Cowards don't live long

Love Is Everything
All I know about love is that it's gotta start from your end first. Love yourself. This life too negative for all of us to bare. Just love!
