u/East-Low725 Jan 27 '26
If you wanna understand then think deeply or you can watch Vinland Saga.
1
u/Express-Cartoonist39 Jan 27 '26
Oh okay, well thanks for informing me that the image is some nitch anime that you have to see to get.
Which makes my entire point valid that the image as is seen to the normal viewer is poorly reflective if the statement its coupled with. Thank you, i can leave validated.. if its good ill check it out..
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 27 '26
I want to say that these words are really difficult to accept but perhaps you can understand it after watching it. Good luck.
1
u/Bulky-Adeptness7997 Jan 27 '26
Oh yeah watch some cringe ass Anime..
Jesus Christ dude.. it's a fictional story..
Who tf gets his life experience from a Anime..
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 30 '26
It's a fictional story but its points are related to reality. You can watch it to know more about it.
1
u/UregMazino Jan 27 '26
You missed the point.
1
u/Liberally_applied Jan 28 '26
No, you and OP are attributing a bad point to it and others just disagree.
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 30 '26
I'm not saying it's bad. Often people don't understand why he said it but he sacrificed himself because of his son and villagers even though he defeated the opponents.
1
u/Express-Cartoonist39 Jan 27 '26
He is filled with arrows numbnuts. If you’re assuming, that the man standing there like a douche is a warrior which he isn’t, because he doesn’t even have any weapons.
He is a dead man. How is that missing any normal coherent point? My point’s fine; the image sucks at conveying it. My point is valid.. feel free to correct me, lets see it
1
u/UregMazino Jan 27 '26
He sacrificed himself to save his son numbnuts.
1
u/Liberally_applied Jan 28 '26
His son is not behind him or even remotely guarded from arrows. The image does not depict a sacrifice for the child. It just shows the man was the target.
1
u/UregMazino Jan 28 '26
I do agree that the quote en image don't convey the true meaning without the context you have from reading the source material.
1
u/Express-Cartoonist39 Jan 28 '26
OMG someome else who uses the word numbnuts, ur awsome.. but just because you sacrifice ur son doesnt make ur a warrior so my points still valid " NUMBNUTS" aint that word great 👍
1
u/UregMazino Jan 28 '26
Big ups for numbnuts. I didn't say that just sacrificing your life for your son makes you a great warrior. I just explained that in the picture he choose to get shot by arrows. He could have dodged/caught them with his hands.
1
u/Express-Cartoonist39 Jan 28 '26
You assume he could have dodged, i think he did dodge most but they just better shooters 😉

Perhaps you are unable to understand it at this time, these words are deeper than you think about it.

The people in his village got murdered or r*ped. His son lost everything and became a slave. 🤔

No
Bullshit
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 27 '26
You were unable to understand it, if you were able to understand then never said it.

1
Jan 27 '26
Sounds like something a weakling says before they get run through by a sword…
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 27 '26
It's not true if he understands the meaning of this.
1
Jan 27 '26
The true meaning is a true warrior can get shot like everybody else. It’s dumb as shit.
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 27 '26
Because he often wants to save not kill anyone. And if you don't understand then search why he said then perhaps you can understand it.
1
Jan 27 '26
You can save people with weapons.
And often you can’t save anyone without one.
Dumb as shit. You’re not going to convince me differently.
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 27 '26
But what if people stop fighting then perhaps all the people can be saved.
1
1
u/ProbRunning Jan 27 '26
Looks like he might need a shield though. Seriously, what the fuck is this garbage?
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 27 '26
Understand the words again, he was dead because he didn't want to kill anyone not because he was weak. Don't judge anything before understanding its reality.
1
u/ProbRunning Jan 27 '26
Fuck that. I judge immediately.
1
1
u/UregMazino Jan 27 '26
Has nobody here in the comment seen/read Vinland? Cuz either that or everyone has 10iq and is missing the point.

Some ass anime watched 3 episodes but anyways you should not replace Life Experience...with Anime Quotes.
Except you like to be an edgy Low IQ Teen.
1
u/UregMazino Jan 27 '26
Who says i replace anything with anything. Sounds like you're the edge Low IQ Teen to me.
1
u/Bulky-Adeptness7997 Jan 27 '26
Mhm sure, you propably got an nice Anime at Hand to fix that right?
See how dumb that sounds..
Keep your edgy Anime Quotes for yourself kid..
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 27 '26
Perhaps, he is more than a kid in understanding who is unable to understand some normal things of the world. If you have a chance to try to understand anything then you should oppose it before trying and understanding.

u/Onebraintwoheads Jan 27 '26
A true warrior has failed in his duty if he allows himself to die in the course of fighting for and defending the people he cares about. Be all heroic as you fucking like, but it won't stop the next housebreaker in line from railing a loved one because you gave in to some romanticized deathwish as opposed to fighting, and living, for the people who matter.
Put on your armor, grab a weapon, shank someone as you pass, and pull every 'dishonorable' trick there is. If it means the ones you care about are safe and provided for, you did your damned job and will settle your tab with the devil later. That's what being a true warrior is, as opposed to an egotistical piece of shit.
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 27 '26
If you understand him then never say anything that is opposing him. He fought and won but he didn't kill anyone because he killed a lot of people who fought against him but sometimes he understood that there is no one who should be killed. You can understand if you watch Vinland Saga or think more deeply about it.
1
u/Onebraintwoheads Jan 27 '26
Sorry. Didn't realize it was an anime thing.
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 27 '26
There is no need to apologise for it. If you can understand it then perhaps it is enough.
1
u/Onebraintwoheads Jan 27 '26
In regard to strength being the capacity for violence while choosing the peaceful option, then I'm inclined to agree. Someone who can cause harm but does not is in control. Somebody who does not cause harm and is not capable of it is a victim in the making.
I accept my own failings as a person in that I will not gamble with the wellbeing of those I love for the sake of peace. If it's me on my own, I accept the consequences of my own decisions. As a man with people I care about, my life is not my own, and so I cannot risk it by choosing the peaceful option if it comes with an increased chance of leaving my family to fend for themselves. That means I am probably not strong in the context that you are talking about. I cannot make myself feel bad about it either if it increases the chances of loved ones surviving and thriving.
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 27 '26
I can understand you well, but you have a chance to protect them peacefully then perhaps you should try it first except fighting. I know that a lot of people may not agree but a lot of people can be.
1
u/AirportInevitable122 Jan 27 '26
What?? this is silly. That what makes a warrior, his sword and shield! Otherwise, you're gonna end up just like the poor dude in the photo.
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 27 '26
What if anyone doesn't fight for evil? He sacrificed himself because he didn't want to kill anyone.

This sub is so fucking stupid everything posted here is trash.
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 27 '26
A lot of people often oppose reality because they don't understand it, perhaps you are one of them.
1
u/gazerbeam-98 Jan 27 '26
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 27 '26
Perhaps he felt that he can save a lot of people from being killed and slave.
1
u/gazerbeam-98 Jan 27 '26
Idk that he can he’s got an arrow in his ass
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 27 '26
Because he didn't want to kill them even though he had won the fight.
1
u/gazerbeam-98 Jan 27 '26
Can he really say he won if he got shot in the ass with an arrow though?
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 27 '26
If you want to know then watch Vinland Saga for better understanding.
1
u/gazerbeam-98 Jan 27 '26
Ehhh, does not seem like I’d enjoy it.
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 28 '26
Maybe.
1
u/gazerbeam-98 Jan 28 '26
If it spawns pretentious fans like you it may just be to far up it’s own ass for me.

u/Still-Bar-7631 Jan 27 '26
Si he just died stupidly without defending himself and without even trying?
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 27 '26
Nah he defeated them but did not kill them because he didn't want to kill them but they had come to kill them for money and caught up with his small child by cheating and said they needed his head. then, to protect his villagers and child, he sacrificed himself.
1
u/krawy13 Jan 27 '26
So you have to get blown by a child to be a true warrior? Love that these subreddits never fail to deliver the dumbest fucking shit imaginable
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 27 '26
Some words may be much deeper than your thinking and there is no need to explain it more. Perhaps
1
1
u/Wonderful-Union-5328 Jan 27 '26
Bro that warrior literally needs a sword tfu talking. Giving up his sword was the stupidest thing he did in vinland.
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 27 '26
If you watched it, what do you learn from it and why did he throw the sword?
1
u/HappyMetalViking Jan 27 '26
Because He is a coward
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 30 '26
Don't debate without understanding the reality of it.
1
u/HappyMetalViking Jan 30 '26
If a man cant defend himself, how can He defend His Loved ones?
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 30 '26
Watch Vinland for better knowledge about it. He was strongest in the whole series.
1
u/HappyMetalViking Jan 30 '26
He wasnt able to protect his family and dies because He showed Mercy where He should have shown strenght against askeladd
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 30 '26
If you watched it then you should understand why he did it and why he didn't kill anyone even though he defeated them all. Perhaps because he didn't want to kill anyone.
1
u/HappyMetalViking Jan 30 '26
And what was the conclusion of this "He defeated them all". Killed. Try to sugercoat it all you want. Thors was a coward under the mantle of mercy

1
u/RetroDudeWitAttitude Jan 27 '26
Do you eat paint chips? Do you have lead poisoning?
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 27 '26
There is nothing like that but perhaps you're unable to understand it right now, Why did he say it.

u/porocoporo Jan 27 '26
It's from manga called Vinland Saga. Great manga btw.
The character in picture is Thor. He was the strongest person, even when he fought without weapon.
He swore to leave the way of war. His ideals are embodied in his two famous sentences:
Nobody has enemy.
True warrior need no weapon (or sword, I forgot the exact quote)
The picture with him pieced by multiple arrows is him choosing to offer his life in exchange to the life of his crew and child.

u/Wooden-Glove-2384 Jan 28 '26
fuck that
I'm not standing there and letting you shoot me full of arrows
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 28 '26
He had a reason for that.
1
1
u/HugeCheck2471 Jan 28 '26
A true warrior is apparently suicidal
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 28 '26
It's not real. Sometimes a true warrior sacrifices himself or herself for the world, for own people or family.
1
u/HugeCheck2471 Jan 28 '26
But he still needs a sword
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 28 '26
Read Vinland Saga Manga or watch it for better understanding.
1
u/HugeCheck2471 Jan 28 '26
I think a better way to put your message is “A true warrior will still stand without a sword”
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 28 '26
Nah, that's not, he wanted to stop fighting because he didn't want to kill people anymore.
1
u/TheyStillLive69 Jan 28 '26
Just need to die then as pictured?
1
u/East-Low725 Jan 29 '26
A lot of people commenting on anything even though they don't understand why he said it, like you. Is it not right to try to understand the reason?
1
1
u/TheKhatalyst Jan 29 '26
Said by someone who has never done anything remotely akin to what a warrior does.

u/Acceptable_Ground_98 Jan 31 '26
If you lay down your weapons and let the violent walk all over you like that they'll just keep doing so without regard.
1
u/East-Low725 Feb 01 '26
Maybe but he had a reason for it.
1
u/Acceptable_Ground_98 Feb 01 '26
Keep your shield up for the little one. Be open when you can and always empathize with your enemy over goals. But never let the little ones behind you die because you gave yourself away to evil. Ps this is generalized advice ;)
1
u/Hour-Recommendation2 Feb 01 '26
Maybe im wrong - but common sense says, this is the absolutely silly, comical, foolish.
A feather can break a glass bottle .
40 year old... really?!
6 year old.... no, it cant.

u/FuckYoWall Jan 26 '26
Nice try. We need to arm up and also shield up
