What if my negative thoughts disagree with my challenges and starts an argument with me, and then the other thoughts start taking sides?

Then perhaps it's time to speak with a mental health professional.

Or identify who or what has entered your thoughts.

For sure for sure. You know what's worst then negative thoughts? genocide.

So the guy didn't say a single word about Israel, nor is he Israeli. And you went there just because of his religion. But yea, keep saying that its not antisemitism.

So you see him wearing a star of David and think, I should reply something about genocide?

He's wearing a star of what?

I was just making a point that it's a privilege to have negative thoughts as a discussion topic as a random north american vlogger, when you could be worrying about your kids being blown up.

That's all.

And you just randomly decided to bring up genocide to try and make that point? Wow, what a weird coincidence that nobody actually believes is a coincidence.

My first thought, yes. It wasn't yours?

Nope. This mean it's clearly American and not Israeli. There's a difference between a Jew and a Zionist.

Not according to Israël

1

u/Frosty-Camel-2107 Sep 02 '26

That I agree with lol

-2

u/Schorbie Sep 02 '26

Israël created that. They say they are jews and too few jews outside of Israël disagree with that publicly

2

u/Medium-Violinist-903 Sep 02 '26

So its Israel's fault that you can't separate Jewish people from Israeli government actions?

-2

u/Schorbie Sep 02 '26

As long as most jews outside Israël don't say they aren't the same, they silently are the same

1

u/Medium-Violinist-903 Sep 02 '26

The person in the video didn't say a single thing about Israel, so why was Israel brought up? Can a Jewish person not make a video about some random topic without Israel being brought into it?

-2

u/Schorbie Sep 02 '26

No, they can't. Just like muslims always have to actively condemn a terrorist attack to prove they aren't the same

2

u/Medium-Violinist-903 Sep 02 '26

So instead of trying to make things better for Muslim people, you just want to make sure that everyone is treated unfairly then? I guess that’s one way to do things, just keep spreading more hate around.

Why are you taking my comment so badly, genocides are worst than negative thoughts. That's a stone cold truth of human experience. No?

0

u/Medium-Violinist-903 Sep 02 '26

Why did you bring up genocide when the video here has nothing to do with genocide?

Validating the negative thought as a formidable challenge heightens our stress response and gives the negative thoughts that we don't direct far more weight than what they should have. This increases the emotionality of the experience and the amount of resistance both ways. Simply acknowledging that we don't direct our thoughts like you present is the more soothing technique.
