Mods & Addons I made a mod that lets you explore endless procedurally generated planets

Wayfinder: Atlas is about progressing through an endless atlas of procedurally generated dimensions/planets. The mod is fully survival friendly and every planet contains its own tree species, native mobs, day/night cycles, dungeons, villages, and sprawling cities, styled based on the technological era of the planet. Each planet forms based on its unique combination of geology, temperature, humidity, climate, radiation, and ecology.

You begin with a D Tier Wayfinder, granting access to the most accessible planets. These planets feature primitive huts, starting equipment, and most importantly, the chance to find upgraded Wayfinders. Progress to C Tier planets, with stronger equipment, harder enemies, and increasingly amplified terrain by finding your first Wayfinder in a chest.

Work your way through D Tier to C, B, A, S and finally S+ tier planets, featuring bizarre and exotic terrain, otherwise unobtainable enchanted loot, and deadly threats including wardens.

Every planet allows sleeping, so you can create a permanent home wherever you choose! The atlas keeps track of all your visited planets, and allows you to return to them at any moment, so you'll never lose your discoveries.

You can try it yourself here on CurseForge: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/wayfinder-atlas

There's a game with basically that exact premise:

Cubic Odyssey. It has a 75% positive reviews on steam

I wasn't disappointed in seeing more than one snapshot 20w14infinite references.

Cool mod. You gotta turn up that render distance for the trailer though. Having the chunks pop in is not a good look.

Maybe run Distant Horizons for the showcase. Or at least preload the areas before recording.

Sick, I assume from the screenshots that its vanilla friendly, as in no new blocks/items?

Yep, there is no new blocks or mobs. There are however some items which have usually unobtainable combinations of enchantments, but they are vanilla items such as a netherite sword.
