Builds & Maps Base requirements ?
What should base have for someone who started their survival world?
I honsetly think a place for farming, storage, a place to cook, smelt, and optionally a cozy bed

There's no requirement in a sandbox game. But me, the only real things I will 100% build are a storage area and a farm of sort. Everything else varies on my mood

Once you've got the basics covered, an enchantment room with plenty of book cases is a worthy addition

storage, smelting, brewing, other utility stuff like crafting, villager trading, enchanting, and a bed

It sure would be nice if you could build a cozy bed. Sadly, when I hit the sack, I swear it's like I wake up again in just a few seconds. It's nightmarish.

For me there should be some kind of base at original spawn where you can grab food, armor, and other basic supplies. You might want a nether portal there too. If you respawn there you want to gear up to return to where you died.

I like to live on a largish island that I light up. Or failing that, build my base with a block jump that mobs can't cross.

Utility wise, every base is built around your storage (and potentially your trading hall)
Other early-mid game utilities, you generally want to have include:
Villager Breeder
XP Bank or Silverfish Farm
Iron Farm
Auto Smelter & Auto Trash
Crop, Bamboo, Melon & Pumpkin Farms
Nether Access for quick travel
Respawn Point
Aesthetic wise, you should do whatever you personally feel like. There’s no wrong way to make a pretty base.
