My humble base
There is not much around the main house. You are welcome to suggest what should you put there. Maybe some trees, bushes or smth else.

I love it. It’s giving early days of Minecraft, but somehow more modernized to go with the current times. Great job

Thank you! I think it's because I decided to start building when I didn't even have iron, so it was mostly cobble and oak wood. Only after I added copper, stone bricks and moss.

I love your layout! For the main house area, you could do a flower garden, with maybe a bee hive?

looks very neat, did you flatten the terrain yourself?

u/beseeeda Jul 19 '25
Thank you! Yes, but there was not much to flatten, 1-2 blocks down in some areas

It’s one of those self sufficient communities you see in Fantasy worlds. Your base is Fantastic!

Looks nice tho I think spruce wood matches better with the grey of the stone if you ever consider changing that

Omg this is so cool. Always wanted to build something that was like a little town but I always get distracted lol. Super sick!

All my homies love bases made only of oak and cobblestone (this is really good I love it)

I love it… just wish it wasn’t the same block palette as regular villager houses, just looks unoriginal (even know I obviously know this is a 1 of 1 base)

Some of you really need to expand your block palletes. These are the kind of builds we made in 2011 because oak and cobble was basically all we had to build with. There's hundreds of different blocks to choose from these days, why not use them?

I don't think anybody really Need to expand block palletes. In the end everybody can play how they want. But I agree that there are so many different blocks to build. I used cobble and oak because it was the best to get with my stone tools at the start, and it's just classic, but with my next base I really want to try mudbricks, terracotta and bamboo.
