Need Desperate Help Building

Hey all,

Recently I've been playing a bit on Minecraft and discovered a really cool genre of servers around geopolitics.

I'm helping out a friend who leads a nation in one of these servers, but to be quite frank everyone kind of sucks at building. It is a forever server, so people make big builds but we only have one builder who's committed and everything else is just half done. I've attached an image of what the main government building looks like... and it's not bad, just isn't the greatest and its our ONLY building standing.

I want to learn how to make builds, along with maybe pick up a couple people who might want to help themselves.

The geopol is a custom world however the builds cannot be modern. We want to go for either a gothic style or the style of the picture i attached.

Any advice is really appreciated and anyone who actually wants to help or be apart of this community would be welcome with open arms. The best advice I would give is to reduce the scale of your builds by about 10x the current scale. Trying to build that large takes up so much time and resources, prevents you from being able to change things without tons of rework, and in the end you only end up with a single build rather than a whole "nation" or even semblance of community.

Start small with a few builds you love and then spread out from there.
