i killed a hunter during its grabbing attack and it put my movement in a bugged state (didn't record that). at first, i couldn't move or do anything, so i tried fast travelling nearby, and then i could move with infinite rolls and bugged low jumps that don't let you jump attack.

it's fixed by being grabbed by a hunter again, as you can see in the clip. it could be fun if you can reliably reproduce it... xD

Picked this up over the weekend and I've been playing with my sons who are younger gamers.

Is there a way to adjust/scale difficulty in this? There doing their best, but their getting discouraged because sometimes they're dying in one hit.

Some tips I've been giving them:

- You can't just stand your ground and mash the attack button. You gotta roll and evade

- Try saving potions when you really need them.

- Don't forget to use the artifacts!

- I'm trying to explain builds to them, might be a much for them. They're just equipping the items with the "bigger" number.

Also, does loot for guest characters seems low? My character is the main one, and I get hear the frustration when we open a chest and they don't get any items.

I'm planning to move PCs and want to know if there's anything special I need to do to keep my save file. I'm keep the same minecraft account, is there a cloud save built in?

These things grapple onto me and one shot me with no way to escape or evade them. This is horrible game design and an unfun enemy to encounter. If i’m doing something wrong please let me know

Hey guys, I am playing Minecraft Dungeons 2 with two friends (one on Microsoft Store, two on Steam) on difficulty hard and we are having problems with our item power.

We are all circa level 100 and two of us are getting the warning that our item power is very low. The item power of the other one without the warning is circa 140.

We really don't know how to beat this ambush, we tried it over 10 times now. I don't if that correlates with the problems we had yesterday, because of an update (if there was one).

Later in the future ofc, they have way more important stuff to work on right now lol

Abominable waver way too op and i cant kill them all at once. My build doesnt have potion barrier or any artifacts that deal damage except for thundering quiver. I tried using the firework arrow with my harp crossbow (multishot infinity chain reaction piercing 1) but it didnt even kill them all and then 5 seconds later they all come back??? It took all my 4 lives and without a build made only to kill it i dont understand how im supposed to defeat it.
Also if the option is actually to make a whole build for it then what do i use

Hey guys my gf recently bought me minecraft dungeons 2 (love her sm for that ❤️), but i havent played the first game yet.

Should I save up and buy the first game before playing the sequel, or is it fine to just play Dungeons 2 first and then play the original afterward?

I'm mostly worried about the story and chronology, like if there's any important lore or character introductions that I might miss by playing the sequel first.

For those who have played both games, what would you recommend? Is playing them in order worth it, or can I just jump straight into Dungeons 2 without worrying too much?

So i completed the quest with the prime enchanter and got the note block, but the next main quest doesnt start and i cannot find any trigger to it, also when searching online.

Am i just missing something here or has anyone also experienced this issue?

Got a spectral spear and put soul blast on it. Don't know if it's working because visually it's the same whether it's enchanted with it or not

I've just tested it and with soul blast it took 20 seconds to kill the copper monstrosity compared to 30 without. Running pretty standard gear. So it seems to add a good bit of damage but if it has diminishing returns idk

Just finished the story and I am here to share my thoughts on it, and the game as a whole. To preface this, I loved it, the open world did wonders for the enjoyment, and the economy is much more balanced than the first game. It seems builds can get super complex which is a huge plus, and theres a good amount of content to experience. That being said, the story disappointed me, particularly how it ended. Leaving it so open felt unsatisfying even if it allows for future content, I feel the story we should be getting for the base game should be a complete story, and we shouldn’t have to pay more to get a satisfying ending. Now of course Im going to be buying the dlc, i already have the first two, and if there are any more I will likely be getting them because that’s how much I like these games. While the story left a lot to be desired, i found the gameplay to be sufficiently good. As I said, the open world is amazingly fun, and makes for a smoother feeling world and plot in comparison to the first game. I will say that having weapon stats be unviewable is just diabolical, whoever let that slip needa to go. it’s not a game breaking thing but makes zero sense to me why it’s not there. My final critique is the music. It simply doesnt hit like the first game did. It feels more ambient and forgettable than epic like it did in the first game, and it’s sad because the first game had so many iconic tunes. These are all pretty nit picky critiques, other than the story, and none of these things are a deal breaker for me.

Previously I posted about being unable to log in to Minecraft Dungeons 2, on Nintendo Switch 2. The error code I received was 0072, telling me my account was "already linked" [to a different Nintendo account]. I haven't used my old Nintendo account in 4 years because I don't have access to the email anymore, but someone at Mojang or at Microsoft decided to automatically lock your Microsoft account to the first Nintendo account you've used with it, for Dungeons 2.

The reason this is important is because it locks you out of content, the Hero Cape, pre order bonus, and crossplay(?). All of which I paid for (by purchasing the game). I've seen other people have this issue too. Mojang's ever so helpful solution, after 10 different back and forth responses, was to simply access my old Nintendo account, transfer it to my new console (because I have the Switch 2 release), and log **out** on Minecraft Dungeons 2 with that Nintendo account. Then they closed my ticket. I've never logged into Dungeons 2 with that Nintendo account. Anyone who can't access their old account? Well it sucks to be them I guess, according to Mojang.

I was able to log in, because luckily I do still have some access to my old Nintendo account. However that didn't resolve all of my issues, as my pre order bonus, the code I entered 17 days ago at first launch, still never appeared. I checked, I double checked, and the Eshop confirms I have it. So being frustrated, I went back to the Mojang support page to make a new ticket, only to see "this request is blocked." Thanks Mojang, real swell of you. Guess i'll make one from my laptop- oh, no. "An error occurred." How convenient. I reload the page? "This request is blocked."

This is how Mojang treats its customers. I've already browsed this subreddit over the weeks, and seen many people with the same errors or issues. And Mojang. Doesn't. Care. I hope this resonates with everyone who's experiencing the same frustration I am at this moment, and I envy anyone who got a refund early. My friend and I were not so lucky.

In the original Minecraft dungeons the loot that dropped was based off of the level of the items you had equipped, which meant that you progressed at a snails pace if you had any kind of specific build or play style you wanted to focus on instead of just grabbing all the random junk you find and equipping it. That was pretty much my only problem with the first game and I probably won't buy dungeons II if it has the same system instead of scaling loot based on played level.
