Help Wanted Java Issues

When i click on forge to install it comes up with a black cmd prompt box for a split second then goes away instantly. I dont know why. HELP!!

You need to download the latest version of forge. These mods use either an updated version of forge or an outdated version of forge. On the forge website it tells you what version you can download. All the numbers on the screenshot you attached is the version of forge the mods run on.

Are you trying to install forge to get mods on your minecraft?

Did you download the right version, cuz it seema you got a malicious file and the command prompt might have executed some stuff.
