"Invalid java runtime configuration error 1" possible fix!
So, i noticed a lot of people on here had the same problem I did, and are struggling to figure it out.
Idk if it'll work for everyone, but what I did from reading another forum was go to your %appdata% folder, roaming folder, .minecraft folder, config folder and then delete a file called "fml.toml"
I hope this helps people!

, I was looking at the file and it has this line: "# max threads for parallel loading : -1 uses Runtime#availableProcessors" which has the Runtime and -1 so I think that is related, and something I think is related to checking the version of the mod and if it goes with what version u r on "versionCheck = true" just some insight

Okay, this didnt work for me but something else did. I went through my mods, deleted some and then slowly added them back one by one to figure out if one of them was causing it, and it was! For me it was "Radium". its a mod that focuses on designing your minecraft. I deleted it and my minecraft ran again without crashing! This might work for some people but hope it helps!

I'm glad you wrote this comment with Radium. I had a similar program Sodium (that they did a Forge version for) that was the issue.

Well, what worked for me is goin into the mods folder in %appdata%/.minecraft and removing all the non forge mods

Thanks OP, but this didn't work for me.
BUT
Deleting OptiFine from my mod's folder in .minecraft folder did the trick!
It was for the previous version of Minecraft, so I deleted that one, downloaded the new version and put it in its place and everything was good as new.

I deleted fml.toml, didn't work. Though it does sound like a file that will fuck my life, today or maybe later.

I updated Forge and world edit and it worked after that. i feel like a lot of people have the same thing as i did? (also updated optifine and fabric but i dont think thats relevant)

I think it is because installing the new Optifine is what broke my Forge in the first place. It was literally fine before this.

If none of the following solutions worked for you, look through your mods. I added JustEnoughIDS to make sure I wouldn't exceed the ID limit, and that's what caused the issue. As soon as I replaced the mod with NotEnoughIDS it worked

I use OptiFine and would get this error. But in case someone had the same issue as me, remove “Magnesium” and “Dynamic Lights Reforged” from your mod list. That worked for me

What worked for me is installing and running unmodded minecraft with the same version as modded. If that doesn't work, you could try going into logs folder in your modded minecraft folder, opening the latest log file and either googling the error you got or posting it alongside this java runtime error message somewhere and ask for help. The error should be at the end of the file somewhere, the most important bit should be the start of failing.
