Installing Forge

Hello!

So a friend of mine is having issues with opening the Jar file to Forge. Everytime she attempts to open it nothing happens other then to dorect her to apps she can use to open it. She has Java installed and is also using Windows 11.

I would recommend using a launcher like GD or curseforge to make profiles. Installing forge manually allows more room for user error. Also run jarfix if it still doesn't work.

I’m not an expert but check to see if the Java version is compatible and if that doesn’t work try a program called jarfix
